First the nice things. The rooms were spotlessly clean - and rather spacy. Food was as you could expect from a Danish countryside tavern - nothing fancy but absolutely well prepared - the Cesar salat was on its latest date though. …

Food and service was very good. The village is lovely and a walk up to the church and graveyard is worth a visit. The inn could do with a nicer look indoor and outdoor. As they host many large parties, they could benefit from a playground or playroom for children.

You get what you pay for...A few days ago, my girlfriend and I had a stay at kværs kro: 1 night, coffee with sweets, 3 courses with wine, and breakfast. It was a stay we booked on deal.dk, and therefore at half price. But that shouldn't make the stay any worse. We were not received at the old, old inn. We had to look for staff ourselves - and she didn't seem to have much desire. We got a piece of melon, with a bit of ham on it, for starters. We got two different pieces of meat for the main course (so two different servings) and with some frozen vegetables. We did get wine though...Nothing was presented, we had to look for staff as we wanted coffee.(He was watching TV)And when he served us the coffee, he asked all the guests if anyone else wanted anything, because he had to go home to bed (it was almost 9 p.m. here)There were a few of us who bought something on the terrace, after which the doors were locked.Good night... yes we got that though. There is no criticism of the rooms, apart from the view of weeds and rusty sheds. But we laughed about it, and didn't go to bed hungry either.

Was invited to take part in a Deal offer, in conjunction with a birthday.|Friendly reception and directions to rooms. Then coffee with buns and pies, which were OK. …
