Today we spontaneously went to Fahner Mühle for coffee and cake. We were pleasantly surprised by the offer! The great coffee and cake tempt you to enjoy. Plus this view! The service polite and friendly! We'd love to come back!

I was there for coffee today and all I can say is. GREAT.We discovered this for ourselves and are going there again.THOSE who complain here should better work on themselves Nothing is perfect and as always, many people want luxury and don't understand that those who work there deserve to get 5 stars!Or are each of us perfect?

We celebrated our wedding at Fahner Mühle on September 13th, 2024 and are still thrilled about the great collaboration with Mike Will's team. No matter whether short-term arrangements or changes, everything was possible. We were able to sleep there, celebrate and the next day there was a really good breakfast for us. We would be happy to come back at any time and can highly recommend this location.

The view is beautiful and it's surprising that there is so little going on. The service barely understands German, but speaks English. It's a shame that the waitress doesn't help with a bilingual menu. We were there with our dog and children and that wasn't a problem at all. The playground is also really great.

A very nice atmosphere, but unfortunately very poor service. The taste of the food was good, but it was served so late that the first guests in our group (10 people) had long since finished. The drinks also sometimes took a long time to arrive, or a service came by quite sporadically. The restaurant was sparsely attended and this inadequate service is unacceptable. We are very disappointed, especially since we wanted to celebrate an 85th birthday. The price-performance level is definitely acceptable. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend La Bodega more highly.

We got the wrong drinks and orders were only understood when we pointed to the dish on the menu. Requests/changes were misunderstood and implemented. There weren't enough cutlery and napkins and the dishes were brought very far apart. Glasses were not cleared away and the service was generally rude at times.The waitress couldn't help it because she was clearly inexperienced and didn't necessarily speak our language.The view and furnishings are beautiful.Outrageous for the price.You have to know.

We had booked a room there over Pentecost because we were going to Gierstädt to visit family. The size was great and even with the dog and dog box we still had enough space and we weren't in each other's way. Beautifully bright and harmoniously designed and furnished. The bathroom is also very spacious and the large walk-in shower was great. The view from the hill is of course unbeatable and the outdoor area is also beautifully maintained and designed. The eye-catcher here is of course the old mill.The owner and the staff were very nice and friendly to us. We will try the restaurant on our next visit. We can't say anything about it.

We were invited to a wedding at Fahner Mühle at the weekend. The location is perfect for a wedding. The wedding day was a dream and just perfect!The breakfast the next day, however, was indescribably bad. We should be at breakfast at 9:00 a.m. When all the guests (24) had gathered in the courtyard at 9 a.m., we stood in front of the closed doors. The staff came at ten past nine and told us we couldn't have breakfast until 10:30. That wasn't a big problem, we waited. When the doors were opened, there was great disappointment. There were 2 tiny plates of sausage and cheese on the buffet, both of which were still frozen 🥶. There were 10 rolls for 24 people, and there was no trace of vegetables or even fruit. Some of the butter, jam and processed cheese packets had exceeded their best before date by years. When we asked, after a while we were given scrambled eggs. Luckily there was still some cake left over from the day before, so we as guests were able to eat something. Well, we have never had to eat such a bad breakfast in Germany or anywhere else in the world. And that for €14.50 per person! This breakfast odyssey gave the previous day's wonderful celebration a long-lasting bitter aftertaste. Really sad 😢
