Family short vacation at Pentecost:As a starting point for our excursions in Upper Lusatia, the Bethlehemstift accommodation offers the best conditions.In the vicinity of this accommodation you can reach many attractions (Görlitz, Löbau, Bautzen, Saxon Switzerland, Dresden, Upper Lusatian Lake District, Dinosaur Park, Baroque Rammenau Castle, Valtenberg, and much more.Many thanks to the Thomas family - everything worked perfectly from booking to arrival and departure. The handover of the room keys and the instructions from the caretaker Mr. Thomas are also a big thank you.You immediately felt comfortable. The accommodation offers everything you need and need. An oasis for children and parents has been created here. The furnishings and furnishings of the Bethlehem Monastery were also done with great attention to detail. We really had the feeling of being on holiday but also the feeling of wanting to stay - you don't really want to leave here. You can simply let the children run around without having to worry about them - there is a playground on site and the forest directly around the Bethlehem monastery. My brother-in-law's wife said: We don't have to leave here to experience something. We can just stay here.There is a table tennis room, a toy room and a sauna in the house.The campfire in the evening rounds things off.Anyone who would like to is well placed with their motorhome or caravan.Here you need to think about it for a long time, convince yourself and enjoy it.The accommodation is for cyclists, hikers - actually for everyone.Many thanks again to the Thomas family, as well as to the caretaker Mr. Thomas.

It is located in the middle of the forest, very well maintained and quiet. Ideal for a hiking holiday. A car is an advantage for arrival and departure and for getting groceries in Neukirch. But the place is well equipped for it! We were also in the Zittau Mountains, the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and the Czech Republic. A beautiful corner in Germany!

If you want all-inclusive accommodation, you've come to the wrong place. The roasted pigeons don't fly down your throat. But it tastes good because you can and must take care of what you want to eat. If you love forest and air and a beautiful house - and have family and friends who want to help organize and celebrate a "golden engagement", this is the perfect place for you. The Thomas coupleand the caretaker Thomas can only be thanked for this opportunity - and we wish you lots of friendly and satisfied guests.

We have been here several times. It's beautifully quiet. There is also a lot to do for the children. There is a great skate park nearby. Mr. Thomas, the manager is always very friendly and helpful. Table tennis table and play cellar for young and old. Because of the forest, it stays quite cool in the apartments here in summer. Very pleasant.

We have been guests in this house with a group of families for years. It's just perfect for us! Quiet apartments, a large room for eating together, playing, thinking, next to it a well-equipped kitchen, a playroom for the small children, table tennis for the older ones, a great playground, space for flying kites, playing football, being happy. There are fresh rolls every day and a pragmatic solution for every special request! Wonderful!!

We love it there! We have been going there as a community for years and enjoying every single day. The environment is wonderful, the children can roam around in the forest or play indoors for hours. The apartments are very clean and there is everything you need. Simply to relax and unwind!

A great environment with everything you need. Among other things, there is a large outdoor area, a games room, a table tennis room, a well-equipped kitchen, a common room and of course holiday apartments. The location is nice and quiet and overall very family friendly.

Beautiful place. I've been vacationing there with my family for many years. Since the ownership changed some time ago, I'm looking forward to my next vacation there in a few weeks.Addendum: Four years after this review, I have already been to Bethlehemstift three more times and will continue to vacation here in the long term. It's still just as clean and quiet as it used to be. A lot of things are changing structurally, but only to the benefit of this wonderful place.The current owner is making great efforts to maintain this house and the land associated with it.A huge THANK YOU for that!!!

We were guests at the Bethlehemstift for 10 days. We felt very comfortable there and were looked after very well on site by Ms. Kampf. Thank you for that. The surroundings are picturesque and the monastery is very remote and quiet. The children can play and run around to their heart's content. If you are looking for a quiet oasis for your holiday with children, this is the right place for you.
