A very nice campsite, beautifully located on the canal, the sanitary facilities were always clean, many long-term campers, everyone was very friendly! Overall it was very quiet. But one evening we sat in the awning for a long time and talked loudly and I was worried, but no one felt disturbed. So everything is very relaxed. The service was also very nice!All around a recommendation!

We went camping with the whole family, including the dog.Very accommodating and friendly. We also received great advice over the phone.The sanitary facilities are clean.A very quiet place. There are shops and restaurants a few kilometers away. Unfortunately the economy is closed and there is no snack bar.Bread service, perfect and delicious.The Lippe Canal invites you to fish and splash around.You can relax at the campsite and meet nice acquaintances.And for the children there is something to play, marvel at and let off steam in the immediate vicinity (from a 20 minute drive).

We arrived at the Lippetal campsite between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., and despite the lunch break and also without reservation we were warmly welcomed by the manager who did not hesitate to come and install us in a very clean, and with all amenities very comfortable and very clean. We stayed there 3 nights.I recommend 100% for the welcome, the service, the cleanliness and it is a romantic place when the barges pass in front of the campsites. Little plus the nearby cycle paths which are really great.

Campsite with charm and potential.If it were a little more well-maintained or if efforts were made to do so, it would be a really great place. Nice employee who greeted us at reception.The two days we were there were fine.The long-term campers were super nice and had a direct menu from a delivery service for us so we could order something to eat because we had arrived so late.The sanitary facilities definitely need to be renewed and kept clean. That's really not nice anymore.The small playground was also littered and no longer nice...as I said, the place has potential.

We have visited this campsite twice and always book it when the Weekend of Hell is taking place. The operator is very friendly and accommodating.The campsite is very well maintained and has a not very large tent pitch as it is mainly designed for campers and caravans. However, it is possible to rent individual pitches for camping.Shops are about 7 minutes away by car. There is a canal right at the campsite that you can walk along.

Beautiful campsite with excellent sanitary facilities. We got a place on the Wiese. Very beautiful, but close to a busy road. Too bad the restaurant is closed due to staff shortages. You can buy sandwiches, wine and beer there. Furthermore, a great campsite right on the canal with the Lippe river behind it.

A very nice place right on the canal. When you walk across the street you are immediately in a beautiful forest area. It is ideal for dogs. We received a very friendly welcome. We were “only” there for the weekend, but the beautiful location, the friendly groundskeeper and the nice fellow campers made us quickly feel at home. We'll definitely be back.

Based on the reviews, it would be a nice campsite, the place is nothing special, a canal with busy shipping traffic, much too dangerous for swimming, there is nothing else to do here, sanitary facilities outdated, the shower room was flooded, but a bill of 35 euros for one night, I didn't notice any friendliness, not again.
