I stopped there on my bike trip.Very hospitable. You immediately feel at home.The rooms are very spacious and everything you need is there.Also worth mentioning is the restaurant, which is simply beautiful and very modern.The food is really great, I absolutely loved it. Nothing off the shelf, really outstanding!Here too you feel very welcome and in good hands.The breakfast was also good, not extensive, but what you needed was there and therefore I had absolutely nothing to complain about. On the contrary.Truly a great visit from start to finish!Always my pleasure!Total recommendation!

We had an overall lovely stay. The rooms are very attractively furnished and very clean. The service leaves nothing to be desired and the breakfast buffet was very extensive and, thanks to its regionality, very appealing and tasty. Ms. Schmitt, with both feet in life, very warm. We can highly recommend the guest house. We can also only recommend the “Tacheles” with its very appealing cuisine. Keep it up, Schmitt family.

We stayed at the Schmitt guesthouse for two nights. Both the rooms and the service were great. Very modernly equipped with enough space and even a cooking facility in the room (ideal with a small child). The breakfast buffet was phenomenal - there was so much choice that there was no shortage of anything.I can absolutely recommend the Schmitt guesthouse. It was a nice weekend in Rheinhessen.

Well-kept small hotel. Our rooms were in very good condition. Likewise the bathroom. I found the desk and its lighting particularly positive. I was finally able to work well here. The bed was very comfortable for me with good point elasticity in the mattress.I couldn't fault the breakfast either. Small buffet with a good mixed selection. Freshly prepared eggs and coffee or tea upon request. Various juices including our own grape juice.The guesthouse includes the Tacheles restaurant, which is within walking distance and which I can also recommend.

The staff is unfriendly and the rooms are anything but clean. Hair from the previous person in the shower and everything covered with a layer of dust. I'm not at all demanding, but cleanliness is an absolute must.Breakfast is ok, apart from the fruit flies in the jam

Nice rooms, you can also eat very well in the attached restaurant. We also had an informative wine tasting, although there was no water or snacks included. The owners are rather reserved and not too friendly.

Rude staff - not at all professional, accommodating, friendly or hospitable. Rather mushy, grumpy and an "I hate people and don't like you" attitude. This also affects the mood of the guests.The breakfast was so-so. Neglected tea kitchen, fruit flies in the open jam and crumpled rolls.The cleaning of the room was also excellent.There are hardly any parking spaces - I was so harassed by an employee with his car that I had to walk backwards while opening my car door. He obviously saw that I wanted to drive away and wanted to "get one over" on me because I had parked too close to the entrance to the yard.If you are traveling with a small child, you should take your own pillow, duvet and towel. This is not provided for the child
