Restaurant and hotel operations were stopped. The main building will be replaced by a new building with apartments.The extension in the rear area will continue to be operated as a small hotel with ten guest rooms under the name “Stars” (see there).Even if the catering was good, you couldn't maintain a building of this size, especially since it was completely outdated. Investing in a modern hotel business is no longer worthwhile given the competition. The rooms were small, musty and old. Some only have a sink and shared shower in the hallway or shower cubicles directly in the narrow rooms.

Easily accessible, plenty of parking spaces directly at the restaurant and in the immediate vicinity. Friendly atmosphere, nice and competent service. They are also prepared to fulfill special requests. Good home-style restaurant with super tasty and good quality food at reasonable prices. Also something for vegetarians. Definitely recommended. Always my pleasure

Unfortunately, the rooms in the guest house are very noisy.You can clearly hear everything that happens in the hallway.The neighbor's toilet flushing or how the rollers are pulled up in the morning. Everything was still bearable, but unfortunately we were extremely cold.It is understandable that energy and heating costs are being saved these days.Unfortunately, in an inn the way we experienced it is not okay.When we moved into the room in the guest house, the room was cold. The heating was probably only turned on in the morning. Unfortunately at -3 degrees it was far too late.The ground was cold. The walls, the bed, the bathroom floor.Everything was ice cold. We were really cold.Since we didn't want to go to our appointment until the evening, we had to crawl into bed.In the evening the room was still not warm.Late in the morning when we got back everything was as it should be. So just poor time management.Turn the heating on earlier in the winter and the guests will be happy. Unfortunately it's not enough for 5 stars.Breakfast was ok then. The basics were all there.Friendly and attentive. Commendable!That's how it should be.

Very friendly staff, great breakfast - delicious fresh rolls and if something is missing it is brought straight away. I have been a guest at Sternen once or twice a year for almost 15 years and always enjoy coming back. Thanks to the great and friendly team!!! Plus a great environment - ideal for running and enjoying nature.
