I attended a training at the Alanus so sleeping in the guesthouse was a logical choice. The rooms are basic. Single bed with color TV. Shower/toilet in bathroom. Comfortable. Breakfast is served in the main building. …

For the second time I was able to be a guest at the Alanus Guesthouse. Again when training the free-running method. Again, the lovingly designed and furnished room was very nice. I was also able to enjoy the room with the most beautiful view.The cuisine is excellent for vegetarians and vegans. The staff is very attentive and I felt completely comfortable. Gladly again.

Wonderfully located, very simply furnished, clean guest house. On the ground floor, with floor-to-ceiling windows, unfortunately a lot of insight into the room. WiFi doesn't work in the hotel room. Bathroom without windows. The breakfast was very clear and a “sausage-free” zone.

I was at the Alanus Guesthouse three times this year as part of my freewheel coach training and always felt very comfortable there. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is excellent and the staff is always very friendly. A clear recommendation.

I stayed here in the guesthouse during a Barefoot Academy seminar. The staff at check-in and in the cafeteria were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and it was lovingly furnished. The food was really good. I particularly liked the proximity to the forest and the view of the countryside from the seminar room.

A really very relaxed hotel. The advertised art in the room was very... subtle.For me, the result was a largely normal room with a few nice, individual details (including light graffiti on the wall, a small box with snacks, two chairs with individual cushions).Overall, the room was well sized with manageable storage space. Very good: lots of light through the large windows, and well above average and really good lighting even in the dark.There is no television, WiFi is free and OK.The room facing the hallway was surprisingly noisy.The hotel is idyllically located, almost right on the edge of the forest, and has a great view of the lowlands. The rural location also results in wonderful (night) peace. The environment also means that you would have been walking for an extremely long time to eat or shop here. And in the evening there is no opportunity to eat directly in the guest house.The bathroom is barrier-free and well sized, but it is quite poorly ventilated, so the mirror fogs up quicklyThe reception is only open from 0800 to 1800, but it is possible to receive the key at any time by arrangement. However, you have to take the times into account when checking out or paying.In terms of price, the room was surprisingly expensive, so next time I would prefer a cheaper and more centrally located hotel. It was worth a try because I slept excellently.
