As soon as we arrived, we smelled an unpleasant smell of old frying fat. The whole property looked unkempt. The room and dining room had the charm of a poorly crafted DIY style. The room was small, the beds and mattresses were bad. The bathroom had a folding door that didn't close properly. Shower with disgusting shower curtain. The breakfast was miserable. Cheapest baked rolls and cheapest sausage and cheese. The tables were not wiped down. You didn't want to touch the salt shaker. I just wished myself away. Unfortunately already paid in advance. One of the more expensive accommodations on our bike tour. An absolute disgrace. Just keep your hands off it.

This hotel was also included for an overnight stay on our Saale bike tour. Unfortunately, this was our “failure”. Courteous hosts, possibility to lock your bike in the (overcrowded) garage that is locked at night and a city map with explanations for exploring. But the room wasn't convincing. A shower curtain is intended to prevent the entire bathroom from getting wet. The way it is hung outside (and without a shower tray), the bathroom is flooded with water. The wet room is separated by a folding door that doesn't close - even if you've been together for years, you might still prefer to be alone when you go to the toilet. The room seems to be struggling with humidity, a smell of mold could not be ignored - there is still clearly room for improvement. We cannot provide any information about the food on offer.

We anchored our boat at the nearby jetty and of course we then stopped at the restaurant. The service was very friendly, the restaurants were nice, clean and nicely furnished, the feel-good factor was 100%. After a long conversation with the landlord, he offered us to come to the breakfast buffet (basically very inexpensive) and to leave the restaurant's sanitary facilities open overnight. Really nice!Definitely recommended! I would love to give it 6 stars! Thanks. :)

This restaurant is located directly on the Saale. As a cyclist you can eat, drink and relax here. The food tastes good. There is a good selection of drinks.

Very pleasant atmosphere. It's great to sit on a terrace directly on the Saale. Food is fresh and delicious. Honest and authentic German cuisine. Every Friday (I think) trout is freshly smoked. Beer is on tap and the service is absolutely friendly

Anyone who likes it simple but is close to nature will like to come here. The warm food tastes delicious and the plate is full. You sit comfortably in the beer garden and look out over the Saale. The breakfast is rich and the hosts are super nice. One flaw should be noted: the fruit was not fresh. The peaches already had a long beard. Something like that shouldn't happen in a restaurant.
