A beautiful and quiet place that is well suited as accommodation for excursions. We were there for a weekend and just found the location very appealing. The fact that you can also do something with horses is certainly a great addition to the typical inn monotony, although we didn't take advantage of it. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was noble and rich. There was a drinks supply in the lobby with a really nice selection. There was actually a background sound pad there that we found completely appropriate, I still think about it and thought that idea was great. Yes, we really enjoyed it and will come back when we come to the region. The only thing we were missing was a kettle with instant coffee and tea, but well, that can still come.

I would like to share my impressions with you.My stay at Vanilla Hof was planned at short notice because I wanted to escape my everyday life as a mother and working woman. When I arrived at this hotel in the middle of the night, from that moment on I can't really put the feelings into words. The hotel is remote, so you can definitely escape the hustle and bustle and city influences. So I got out of my car at 3 a.m. and this idyll and contentment was present from the first second. The room was just cute. It is very pleasantly furnished and there is a beautiful bathroom. The breakfast buffet on both days was wonderful. The hotel and the complex are lovingly managed and designed.I was also lucky enough to be able to enjoy some horse time.I recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and just endure the connection and silence for a certain period of time. I really can't describe in words the forces and feelings that were released there. But the feeling you take home with you is so much nicer. The conversations with the operators are so in-depth and pleasant that I will definitely come back.

A beautiful and at the same time lively oneA place of rest where you can be by yourself and enjoy nature. Of course, the horses have a special charm, as you can hear them snorting and neighing every now and then at night, which only made the atmosphere even more peaceful. The hosts are very warm and friendly, overall everything was very familiar and cozy. The breakfast was also high quality and tasty with a good selection. All in all, a big recommendation 🙏🏻

People, horses and nature!A successful combination for those seeking peace and quiet! A place that is no longer so easy to find today. We were allowed to be your guests at our family reunion and really enjoyed the noticeably unpretentious hospitality. Whether it was the nice conversations with Silke and Frank, the lovingly prepared breakfast buffet, the wonderful peace and quiet in this magical landscape...Everything was just right. We would be happy to recommend you to like-minded people and wish you continued success!

I have visited the Vanilla Hof several times with and without a horse and am always surprised at how much attention to detail the warm hosts put into making the stay something special. The rooms are clean, well-kept and stylishly furnished. The breakfast is rich and lovingly prepared. The location is quiet and always feels like a little "island vacation" for me because it's the perfect place to switch off from the excitement of everyday life. This feeling is often supported within the hotel by slightly spiritual, quiet music in the background. I don't want to miss this mental relaxation and I'll definitely be back. The days on the Vanilla Farm always go by far too quickly.

A shock that only made people shake their heads! Based on our experience there, I am sure that no interested parties are wanted on site, everything should only be booked online without actually being able to get a picture of it on site first. In short, what we're driving again is. A Germany-wide meeting was organized by my wife's family in the Vanilla-Hof, for which some offers from the house are waiting and the rooms have been booked by the majority of the family. And the prices are quite impressive, less for the rooms but more for the programs, which can sometimes seem a bit esoteric. We, as Naumburgers and especially those who already knew the house beforehand, of course saw no reason to book a room in Vanilla Hof and we know the other activities well enough or they differ greatly from our interests. So we met the family for dinner in town and had the oldest, my wife's uncle and aunt, over to our house for coffee. Afterwards we brought the relatives to Vanilla Hof and said goodbye in the entrance of the house. Of course, one or two cousins came to say goodbye and we also saw the shelf with the house's offers and wanted to read them briefly, when the boss of the house, or the mistress of the Vanilla Hof, came up to us energetically and told us clearly that we were not invited and had no business there, mind you, still in our shoes and jacket. When we objected that we had only brought the older people and were just saying goodbye, the boss said that we still had no business there, that they were all their private property and that we had to respect that. Yes, okay, but in a hotel/guesthouse with restaurants and a business that is supposed to continue to grow and exist? It felt strange and cult-like. Of course, this didn't go unnoticed by the surrounding relatives and the appearance of the co-owner of the house caused people to shake their heads and be shocked. I had already heard a lot about the new business from friends from Wethau, but a live impression like this is a bit more lasting. I wouldn't recommend the house with the current concept and staff to any friend or relative, but I would recommend the owners further training in dealing with potential customers and people in general, especially for the "communication seminars" they themselves offer. If I ever had a horse, I honestly wouldn't feel good about giving it into the hands of Vanillahorse.

The location of the “hotel” is super secluded and quiet. Nicely designed outdoor facilities. But... our room wasn't clean, everything seemed old and worn, which they tried to cover up with "modern decoration". You arrive and the first thing you hear is that you're not allowed to do that, please don't bring your own drinks, otherwise you'll have to pay a fee... it was like that in the 90s but today? Difficult and absolutely not up to date... You can buy drinks there, but you can only consume them outside. Yes, there was free water - but that's part of it too. The best thing to do when you get there is to go to your room and not move anymore. The entire area is marked with prohibitions everywhere (which I can completely understand when it comes to the horse stables) but otherwise? So it's more relaxed on a school trip at a school than here. It's ok for a weekend to sleep (please read all the rules and prohibitions carefully), but I wouldn't even recommend it because it's simply too overpriced for what you get. Breakfast room much too small, food offerings were acceptable. However, at 9.45 a.m. you are asked to leave the hall with a certain undertone and bluntly. Small children (3 years old) are charged like an adult. You simply notice that as a “normal” guest you don’t fit into the concept and are not welcome. The love for animals is great but you shouldn't call it a hotel, you just notice that the experience and necessary knowledge of a hotelier is missing here.To conclude, all the best for the rest of your journey. We won't see each other again

Very nice hotel in Gieckau, about 5 km from Naumburg. Rural location about 500 m from the main road, but quiet. Parking spaces are available at the house. The hotel is two floors, rooms on the first floor, all with balconies. Unfortunately no elevator (not barrier-free). Nice rooms with modern bathrooms. I was there for 13 days in September 2024 and it was very pleasant. I used the hotel as a starting point for excursions in the area. The hotel offers an opulent, albeit expensive, breakfast that can be booked; Beyond that, no meals are offered. But there is a very good inn on site within walking distance. Drinks can be purchased at the hotel. It was a shame that the hotel unfortunately doesn't allow you to bring your own food, and there is no refrigerator or kettle in the rooms. Unfortunately, drinking tea on the balcony in the afternoon or eating fruit was not possible. Nevertheless, I had a very nice stay!
