Very friendly hosts and of course a perfect location for events in the neighboring Festwerk. However, the prices were absolutely exorbitant (€90/night) for an approximately 13sqm apartment (including bathroom!) in which the three of us were accommodated with our baby. The bed in which we two adults were supposed to sleep was 1.10m wide (!) and together with our baby bed there was hardly any room to turn around - neither in the bed nor in the room. Breakfast was also not offered or was not included in the price of €180 for two nights in this supposed “double room”. With all the love, our room in this accommodation is worth a maximum of half the price, more like what is advertised in the town: “Accommodation from €21”. By the way, payment is only made in cash and of course without an invoice...The nearby hotel in Peine is cheaper per night in a modern double room including breakfast and air conditioning - better go there!

We were able to stay in the honeymoon suite in April 2024 as part of the “everything included” wedding. But our guests were also accommodated by the Depenau family. The treatment was very warm, the rooms were great and the house was beautiful!
