First impressions matter and ours was terrible…our stay so far has been downright bad. At checkin the man at the front desk barely acknowledged my existence as he was on the phone besides to tell me that I didn’t have a reservation (when I did) and then shove paperwork at me when he noticed I was on the list. He had a kind woman that didn’t speak any English show me to my room….in a far corner of the hotel through a maze of stairways. The location is incredibly far away from the nice part of town. The walls are thin…I spent the night listing to the man next door snore. And there is NO WIFI in the room! I have no idea why this place is so expensive, avoid at all costs!

Not a great experience, we had no mountain view as per booking details. We were escorted to the second floor for a room type B, only to find our way back down to the 1st floor where the room actually was. (staff don't seem to know where your room is) It was extremely hot, the sauna is right below the room, the warm air is in the stairways, it was noisy, no view and no fans/AC. When we asked for another room, we were asked to pay in. Unacceptable. The hotel is in need of an update. They gave us a drink voucher which they later would not accept unless we also bought dinner. Very disappointed and would not waste my money at this hotel again. Better experience at an air b&b.

We had a wonderful stay here. Very clean and modern rooms, excellent breakfast and dinner and friendly personnel. We liked that it is a bit out of the crowded centre (15-20 min walk) so nice and quiet. No restaurants in the immediate vicinity but the half-pension with dinner is highly recommended.Only criticism: a small fridge in the room would be nice.Would book again.

We were so pleased to return here and LOVED our stay. The staff and service is fantastic. Traditional German communal areas /lounges modern rooms with beautiful views of the Mosel and Castle. In advanced (but very short notice) I mentioned I was dairy free and they ensured dairy alternatives for me, which is beyond kind and I was so grateful. Always someone on hand to help. Very clean and well kept, close to the town, ample parking with pool and sunana and a DELICIOUS BREAKFAST buffet. Nothing is too mcuh trouble. Can't wait to return for a 3rd time. Adam and Louisa.

I didn't know about this hotel, so I took another accomodation, unfortunately. But, we had dinner here and the food was exceptional. Best asparagus I ever tested and the desserts are exceptional. Will definitely come back here also for a stay.

Wir hatten eine ganz schöne Zeit. The swimming pool was so nice with the wall decorations and bubblestream. The sauna as well.Breakfast was actually just perfect and the schnitzel tasted delicious during dinner! Such a nice staff you have.I especially liked the cozy foyer, nice to read and play some boardgames. The basic room was a little too basic maybe.

Extremely overpriced hotel! Uncomfortable separate beds, pillows, smell, little room, very thin walls that one can hear how the neighbors go to bathroom. Shower and sink needs adjustments. We didn't sleep well. Very friendly stuff. Nice lounge and views. Fantastic city!

Good hotel in need of a little updating but big room, comfortable bed and clean. Has a nice little pool and nice lounge / bar area.||Good breakfast selection and good quality. ||Staff - Some better than others!||A mile or so out of Cochem along the riverside footpath, walkable in about 20 minutes or so.||
