My family and friends asked for an English menu as we struggled to understand the German menu but the bald waiter rudely replied that there was only german as it was Germany! We then mistakenly asked if they had a beer but he arrogantly replied that this was a wine bar. We angrily left the place as we were disgusted by the customer service at this place and we got got a rude disgusting exit ! He even pushed out my friends wife telling us to leave . Never seen such a arrogant uneducated waiter! I truly hope he gets fired ( or trained)and Beim Weinbaur expresses their apologies as this could maybe escalate further in another occasion. Funny that he did speak Dutch after all!

Let me start by saying that a lot of the low ratings here are very recognizable. The (downstairs) wine bar doesn’t serve food or beers. It’s a wine bar only. It looks fairly nice and modern and the wines are genuinely nice. However, the service is absolutely terrible. Impatiently and not talkative or considering. It was made clear that we can pay immediately when we didn’t want another two bottles for the group. The place was only half occupied, so there was no reason that we had to be on the way out within 5 minutes. On the way out, the waiter “with the grey hair” (there are two btw) smashed a door in one of our party when we’re about to leave. An experience we won’t forget any time soon.

Let me start by saying I have never written a google review before. Never found even the worst of places worthy of the time it takes to write a review. This place however needs to be avoided. Great location decent food…..the service was hostile. First time in my 56 years on the planet that I left no tip!

What a horrible old man pretending to be a waiter…. He was rude to me for coming to look for silverware after waiting for him to bring anything for 30 minutes. We live in Germany and are well taken care of by staff usually. This old man was so rude to everyone dining there yelling at women for trying to order a coffee and we were told by other staff many complaints were given about him but they have no replacement. Do NOT EAT OR DRINK HERE!!!

Burger and flamkuchen were pretty good but the schnitzel was one of the worst I’ve ever eaten, very dry and without sauce. Prices are high for what you get. Nice terrace though.

Food and wine were delicious. Presentation of food was very well done. Service was very efficient. Prices were moderate about 45 Euro for two meals with wine and sparkling water. Lovely view of the river. Nice breeze on the second floor patio.

This is a winebar, restaurant and hotel. We were there for drinks (wine). We were also tempted by the apple strudel which was absolutely amazing. The waiter on the upstairs terrasse was very good.

We had dinner here because it has a nice view over the river. I did not like the food, but the atmosphere is generally nice. The waiter was very friendly to us. I would recommend the restaurant for a drink.

The worst waiter ever! He was smelly and unfriendly at first sight when realized that we are speaking English. I was surprised because there were emtpy tables in the terrace but then I realized after 2 seconds why they are empty. Not just him, other stuff was also rude in downstairs. Just don't go there if you don't want to be treated like piece of sht.

I dined here on July 6, 2022. It's a tourist trap - maybe good for drinks, but not to eat.I ordered their most expensive three grilled meats. The meat was all right but the garnish potatoes were sour from beginning to spoil. My meal and a glass of wine came up to 28.10, but a credit card can be used only if you spend over 40 euros.A local person gave me a piece of advice to pick a restaurant that is a stand alone restaurant and not a restaurant with a hotel or guest house.I would not recommend this restaurant, and I will try my luck somewhere else.
