Very nice new location.Enjoyed the jacuzzi, you can also use the sauna, but we did not choose that.Gerwin and Anqelique were very hospitable. This made us feel very welcome.Greetings Sandra and Nicol

We were warmly welcomed by Angelique and Gerwin at B&B De Onthaasting. They are two very enthusiastic and friendly people who make you feel very welcome. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and really felt completely relaxed. In the evening we walked to the center of Gennep, a very nice town in beautiful surroundings, see photos. Then relax in the hot tub, highly recommended! Spending the night in the camping pod was also comfortable, with air conditioning and a wonderful bed. The next morning we were surprised by Angelique with an extensive breakfast. I highly recommend this B&B in Gennep, especially if you want to surprise someone with it.

What a wonderful experience!We stayed 2 nights at B&B De Onthaasting, where we received a very warm welcome.Immediately upon arrival you feel the hospitality and get a feeling. The nature that is clearly present around the Pod is soothing.The Pod has thought of everything necessary for a pleasant stay. It is simple, but efficient and luxurious at the same time. The terrace at the Pod allows you to enjoy nature even more with the whistling birds, the buzzing bees and the rustling leaves.In the evening enjoy the Hot Tub (which can be booked for a small additional charge but is definitely worth it) while nature retreats into sleep mode and you can relax even further.The time for breakfast can be arranged in consultation, which is also very nice. The breakfast itself is extremely extensive and you won't be short of anything. From delicious freshly baked rolls to yoghurt and fruit. It was really delicious!You can go in all directions in the area. From walking on nearby paths, to various restaurants in Gennep or surrounding villages, to the town of Kleve, which is a 17 km drive away. There is plenty to see and do, so be sure to get out and about.We can summarize the weekend in one word; FANTASTIC!!!We definitely recommend B&B De Onthaasting. For us it is not a question of IF we will come back, but WHEN we will come back.

Warm hospitality and an incredibly warm welcome! My stay at “Onthaasting” was fantastic!Location is perfect, close to the Pieterpad route.Private cottage, with everything you need! Everything is very clean and tidy! It is also possible to use the sauna and nice jacuzzi.In addition, I was allowed to use extra services, the pick-up and delivery services to the right place where I could continue walking the Pieterpad.Top location and hospitality! We had an overnight stay in this cozy camping pod with a warm welcome from Gerwin and Angelique and enjoyed a delicious breakfast.We will definitely come back again!

I think such a B&B is the best thing that can happen to you if you walk the Pieterpad and want to relax after your walk. Sweet and enthusiastic owners, a house with all the trimmings, clean, a comfortable bed, a delicious breakfast and the silence around you. Definitely recommended!!

Very warm welcome by the enthusiastic owner with a clear explanation about the brand new B&B.What a beautiful house it is, wonderful bed, good bathroom, a hot tub and sauna. A truly fantastic and extensive fresh breakfast is served whenever you want it.Everything has been thought of!! Highly recommended if you want to get away from it all to recharge! What a great experience at BenB de unwinding! Super friendly hosts Gerwin and Angelique welcome you, explain everything well and are very hospitable. The house lacks nothing, wonderful beds, nice shower and the hot tub is highly recommended 😀.

Relax in a beautiful intimate setting where you really feel welcome.The furnishings are complete down to the smallest detail.The host family is open and very friendly.Definitely recommended (for Pieterpad runners)!
