It is a super cozy place for people to have a quick couple of days get-away holiday. Get to discover the mother nature side of Holland and less of the busy, crowded cities. It would go without saying, but the hot tub they provide is really a must do. Don't burn the woods for over 2 hours!!! Or else it will turn into a hot pot instead!

We really enjoyed our stay here in 2020 we booked to come again and asked for a set spot, we have a young child and a dog and need to make sure we are in a certain area of the site. However, upon arrival we saw our spot was taken. They told us they have given this spot to others that have booked long. We are very disappointed and won’t book here again due to this situation. Be aware you might not get the spot you want and they won’t tell you until your arrival.

Wow, a really wonderful location for camping with children and feeling good from arrival to departure thanks to the loving hospitality and child-friendliness. We will be back!

We booked the campsite via Socialdeal. Price/quality is worth a 10. Quiet location with friendly staff.Only minor maintenance could have been improved. There was green deposits everywhere. For example on waste bins, the train wagons, the garden benches, the roofs covered with moss. The shrubs could also be pruned from time to time. I understand that they have less time for this (all 4 of them have full-time jobs), but with 4 people, sacrifice 1 day off and everything will look spick and span again. But the worst part was the black border on the shower curtains. You could easily replace these with a second set every week or so and wash them again. Toilet and shower neatly cleaned. Playground (can also be renovated/painted/cleaned) and indoor playground available. That is certainly a plus with children. Place of around 60/70 m2 with little to no shade. But despite these small things, which I think could have been improved, we had a wonderful holiday here with lots of cycling and walking pleasure.

Chalet surrounded by nature on a camping holiday spot 🏕️ where it is possible to rent a Norwegian chalet, pitch your tent or come with your caravan. Small downside if you are looking for calm it may be the right place or not everything depends on the campers or vacationers who are there at the same time as you. otherwise they are good to stay there for a few days to recharge their batteries

Unfortunately we wouldn't book this accommodation again because it was a bit dingy and dirty here and there (cobwebs and tons of mosquitoes and flies) so we left a day earlier. We had to remove bones from the previous tenant's barbecue from our dog's mouth in the garden. But the outrageous thing is that we didn't get our deposit back because we supposedly didn't leave it clean, which is clearly not true because everything was swept and the trash cans were emptied. A diaper smell is assumed and a professional cleaner had to be hired for this😅 yes and it supposedly cost over €200🙃🙃 after several attempts the money was stubbornly withheld by the landlord.A bold ploy for us.Not recommended!

The first impression was good, very spacious and well equipped. However, it was a bit dingy with lots of dust and cobwebs. The chair covers were full of stains and the couch was also showing its age. You could still find mosquito carcasses in the sleeping cabins. We were also a little surprised that the owner stood in the garden without announcing and wanted to talk to us. We stayed in the house for a weekend and it was very warm, which the owners can't do anything about. But there were tons of flies and mosquitoes and it wasn't possible to ventilate properly. Since we felt generally unwell, we left a day earlier. But the most audacious thing was that our deposit was not refunded. We were accused of leaving the house in an impossible condition. We swept through and took the garbage to the door. Everything was neat. It wasn't clean and clean even before we arrived. We contacted the owner several times and asked him to send us photos as evidence. However, there was no more answer.

We spent the last few days camping with our caravan at the Buitenboel campsite. A quiet campsite with beautiful grass and plenty of play facilities for children. A nice base for walking and cycling. The Pieterpad runs past the campsite.The sanitary facilities were clean and tidy.The associated restaurant was closed due to... staff shortage.

We stayed for three nights with two caravans to walk the Pieterpad. Very nice owners. Nice and quiet campsite right on the Pieterpad. Beautiful places for the caravan, toilets for camping guests are very basic, but the showers (and shower room) are very comfortable. Very child-friendly with a nice (partly covered) playground.

We stayed in wagon 1 or was it wagon 4, no, 1 ;-). Good beds. A small point for improvement is to install a mosquito screen so that the window can remain open. We had exceptionally warm weather last weekend and we had to keep everything closed for our feathered friends. It wasn't really busy so the catering industry was closed. But because our acquaintances rented a Finnish house, we had two pleasant evenings there.We cycled to the Hertog Jan brewery for a day (approximately 22.5 km one way). We had a nice day. Went to Zoo Parc Overloon on Sunday. All in all we had a great time.
