We had a fantastic stay! The room was incredibly spacious and spotless, perfect for our family. Having a cot readily available was a huge plus. The free parking was also a convenient perk. We loved our time here and would definitely recommend this hotel to others

I'm not sure why this property has high ratings.WE booked two rooms. 'Comfort Single' and the description says twin bed. So I expected a queen or zipper king(bed that can be split into twins) but the room has a single bed - in 2024 ??It's supposedly a 4 star property. It's clearly a 3 at most. Basic laminated furniture and limited amenities.One of our rooms has AC and a minibarThe other has neither.The lady at reception flat out lied and said, "It's not possible the AC doesn't work"After some arguments miracles happened and a room across the hall with working AC was available.The fact I was lied too and had to argue to get what I had paid for is frankly ridiculous.Also the bathroom floor had sequins and glitter on it from prior guests and the carpets are stained.Would not recommend.

Update 21 Aug 2024The air conditioning in the hotel room has not been working for the duration of my current stay, which I am 3 nights into a 5 night stay. After speaking to the staff, there seems to be a lack of effort to get it resolved as it has still not been seen by a technician. This is apparently affecting the whole hotel. The AC in the room will come on for 1 hour and then switch off. Once the AC switches off, the temperature rises to over 25 °C in the room. Unfortunately, this is disappointing as the AC is a key reason for booking the hotel.A nice clean hotel with a good restaurant. The gym and spa are not normally busy.The bar has not been open when I have stayed there (several weeks in total, Sunday - Thursday). I would prefer to have a beer in the bar area instead of in the restaurant.There is parking, but due to the lack of white marker lines and people leaving.large gaps, parking is limited. However, I have always been able to find a space.It is generally a quiet hotel.There are lots of bars and restaurants to go to right next to the hotel, and a short walk provides a wider choice of places.

We did not receive a warm welcome. The staff could be more friendly with international guests. We asked for a king bed, but received a room with twin beds. No coffee or tea makers in the room which is strange for a four star hotel.The elderly guests might find the bathtub difficult to use.On the positive side, the rooms are clean and they offer nice welcome snacks.

Clean, Spacious Rooms & Convenient Location (For Travelers with Dogs, Consider Cleaning Protocols).Great location for exploring Cologne.While the hotel itself isn't the most modern (previously a Ramada), it's convenient for travelers with its proximity to Hürth-Mitte station and Hürth Park shopping center.Our superior room was clean and spacious, with amenities like a coffee maker, mini-bar, bottled water, bathrobes, and slippers. A big plus was having windows that open for fresh air, and the bathroom even had natural light! Additionally, a garage parking space is included with superior rooms, but there's also ample free outdoor parking.The breakfast buffet was remarkable, offering a wide variety of fresh options to suit all dietary needs. Coffee could be improved, but overall, no complaints on breakfast.The hotel has a fitness center and sauna (open from 5 pm to 10 pm), which we didn't use on this visit.It's worth noting that the hotel allows dogs for a 15€ surcharge, which includes a small snack, bed, and bowl. While this is a great option for pet owners, we found the dog bed and bowl weren't cleaned upon arrival. Hopefully, this is an oversight and not standard practice.Overrall, This is a good option for travelers, especially those with cars, looking for a convenient location near Cologne as it takes only 20-30 minutes to reach Cologne center. The clean rooms, included parking (with superior rooms), and extensive breakfast buffet make it a comfortable stay.
