Very nice place! Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night, we’d have loved to stay longer. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The place itself, we stayed at an apartment, was very clean and came with a small kitchenette, bathroom and free WiFi. We even saw two storks sitting in their nest from our window. Breakfast is optional (we didn’t book it, but it looked great). Highly recommended!

Just before 7 pm we arrived but the ladies served us a nice meal: saucage with potatoe salat. Desert: cherry crumble with ice cream and coffee. The location is so wonderfull and the ladies take care. The italian waterdog plays arround and is unbeleavable sweet. A must go when you do the Elbe bike trail

Never found around here such a nice Café. Around here everything is genuine: products are fresh and all is home-cooked. Still, the presentation of almost all café and restaurants is pretty... left aside. The small café of this pension is the absolute exception. The cakes are home made as anywhere but its ambiente is one of a kind. PERFECT TO LOUNGE (even with kids!)

How lucky we were to ride past this place, just off the Elbweg bike path. Gorgeous, peaceful back yard, with tables under the trees... friendly staff and our coffee/beer were great! Bis zum nächste.

I ended up here by chance on a day trip. Pure nature, nothing artificial. Old but lovingly arranged. My destination was the restaurant, the beer garden. Tables and chairs are on solid ground. …

“Just” took a short break without staying overnight. Very relaxed and snacked on a delicious sausage with potato salad in the garden. Great service, food very good! Beautiful garden. Recommended, really!

We rode the Elbe cycle path in August 2024 and stayed in the guesthouse for one night (and of course we had booked beforehand).There are several rooms, and we had the opportunity to change from the "cyclist room" we had booked to a larger one, which we did without further ado. We could see both rooms and both are really, very tastefully and lovingly furnished. It is absolutely quiet, you have a beautiful view of the dike and the surrounding area.In addition to this wonderful room, everything else was just great: There was something to eat in the evening even though we weren't there until 6:30 p.m. The food was of course also very good - but in my opinion it was surpassed by the breakfast! If you spend the night there and if the weather is good like it was for us, then it's almost a must! It's a great way to fortify yourself for the day and for me, as a city dweller, the eggs, which were obviously produced in-house, were one of the highlights.So, an absolute recommendation! Anyone who rides the Elbe cycle path and is simply looking for a thoroughly beautiful relaxation stop will find it here.
