We stayed with Katja and Helge for a week on the farm, which is very idyllic and in an absolutely secluded location. The rooms are very clean and furnished with great attention to detail. Katja is a very warm host who lives her dream and runs the farm with a lot of passion. We enjoyed the delicious, healthy and lovingly prepared food every day. The children also get their money's worth here, whether riding, cleaning, feeding or leading the ponies (little thunder), petting the goats or just spending time in the playground next to the pigeon house. Katja's horse husbandry is truly an example of species-appropriate husbandry; here horses can be horses. You can also treat yourself to a break in the exclusive, modern wellness area.Thank you Katja and Helge for the lovely week of holiday with you, we will definitely be back.Kind regards from Kerstin, Jule, Lio and Kalea.

I was there with my sister and our children, and we were immediately warmly welcomed like family. The farm is huge, with a private playground, gorgeous white pigeons and of course horses and cute ponies. The children were able to groom the horses every day and then ride them in the yard or go on excursions together. They felt very comfortable and we moms were finally able to enjoy some time for ourselves in the beautiful wellness and spa area.The rooms were very clean and we didn't miss anything. Dear Katja spoiled us with delicious food and drinks and also gave us a lot of interesting information about animals and food.The landscape there is simply breathtaking and this holiday was balm for the soul.

One of the best holidays I had with my girls. The farm is like something out of a picture book and a dream come true for my girls. We stayed overnight in the pony meadow and my two girls, aged three and six, immediately fell in love with their room. It is very lovingly and cleanly furnished. Katja is a wonderful person who leaves nothing to be desired. We were extremely well catered for in terms of cuisine. We were very impressed by the loving and very professional treatment of the horses and my girls. Riding in this beautiful landscape enchanted my girls. The highlight for the parents was the spa area, which topped the whole thing. Dear Katja, we thank you for this unforgettable vacation!

A few weeks ago we went on vacation with Katja on the farm as a small family and had a really nice time! There was something for every need - riding, petting the animals, a playground with a Pippi Longstocking feeling because the horses could run around freely, wellness, as well as delicious and special food from Katja. We learned a lot of new things from Katja and were able to use the farm as a starting point for various excursions.We can highly recommend a vacation there :)

Unfortunately, my vacation at the castle farm is over and I would like to give twice as many stars. I have never enjoyed every moment and every bite on vacation as consciously as I did with Katja and Helge. Katja's delicious food prepared with her own ingredients in such an imaginative and loving way and the family atmosphere enriched the holiday.Pure relaxation, also through the spa areawhich leaves nothing to be desired, simply phenomenal and you are there among yourself, just friends or family.Also ideal as a starting point for many hiking tours, or as a starting point for motorcycle tours; Shelter available and a workshop nearby, just great.I will recommend it to my biker friends and I will definitely go there again...I'm looking forward to it

The Katzenstein Castle Farm with all its two- and four-legged friends is an absolute gem!! Katja's loving and warm nature made us feel at home straight away.We, 2 friends with our 3 children, had a wonderful, relaxing week and unfortunately have to come back.

We spent the second time with our son on a wonderful autumn holiday with Katja at the castle farm. The holiday apartments are lovingly furnished and we didn't miss anything. It's not just during the wonderful barbecue evenings that you can feel Katja's love for what she does. She is also warm and friendly when dealing with the children and animals. The safety of everyone, be it when dealing with the horses, on a ride or general behavior on the farm, is important to her.And so it can be a relaxing dream vacation for everyone.Because the children can move freely in the yard and playground and if the children are happy, so are the parents.Thank you for everything, dear Katja.Absolutely recommended.

The owner gave us (a family with 2 children) a lovely, exciting, relaxing and culinary holiday week. In addition to the daily horse rides through a beautiful landscape, we were able to learn a lot about the history, the landscape and the animals. She runs the farm with a lot of love and you can feel it.Little tip:- Homemade cake in the afternoon- Grilled specialties from our own farmOur absolute recommendation for a holiday on a farm. We will come again.

We had a very nice holiday with Katja. She is a great host and runs this farm with a lot of passion. There is a lot to discover for the children and great offers. The animals are all very child-friendly and everyone had a lot of fun riding them.The apartment was very spacious and well equipped. The highlight for the children was the adjacent terrace with a direct view of the ponies and chickens.
