The area is very nice and calm. Friendly staffs. Excellent food!!!Yes, perhaps the room is bit old but acceptable and clean and comfortable related for the price. Generally the facilities and services are great!!! Definitely I want to come back again. (Stay: 24-28 Sept 2018)

Went there without expecting much knowing a remote quiet location close to Walldurn. Standards in the rooms are old fashioned, not a disaster but with some defects like dangling cables. Most importantly the Wi-Fi almost doesn’t work. …

A very nice hotel "in the woods" its quiet location makes it the perfect get away for people looking to escape the towns or cities.Basic but very clean rooms. The breakfast choice was also good.Very friendly and helpful staff.

We had our free wedding there on August 31, 2024 and can only thank you very much. The whole team was super friendly, good service and were always on point. The rooms were well maintained and had everything you needed, the food was sensational and cooked to perfection. The whole location is beautiful, starting with the driveway and ending with the meadow where the wedding ceremony took place. No matter what wishes we had, they were implemented by the Mehl family, we had great advice when choosing the menu, suggestions were exchanged and suggestions were made, these were worth their weight in gold. We all had enough space and were able to celebrate undisturbed inside and outside thanks to the good connection to the outside. The rooms were spacious, tidy and clean and left nothing to be desired. Our shower was very spacious, especially it is nice to see that it is built at ground level. The breakfast the following day was generous, from rolls to muesli, nothing was left to be desired. The coffee addiction was fully satisfied. No problem for celebrating until the next morning, as it is very remote and no neighbors complained and the team did it brilliantly and always had a smile on their faces. We were always asked whether everything was to our satisfaction , this was far exceeded.You can feel a nice family atmosphere among the entire team, we were warmly welcomed and said goodbye, we felt very comfortable with the Mehl family from the first second. We can recommend everything without reservation and please keep it up :)

We spent the weekend from August 30th, 2024 to September 1st, 2024 in the Linkenmühle.My great cousin organized the wedding ceremony and the accompanying celebration there.Since I am a trained hotel manager myself, I am very well able to evaluate the country inn with an objective view.The cleanliness of the rooms, the restaurant and also the toilets is excellent.The ambience and location of the country inn are simply wonderful, it looks incredibly idyllic and, in today's fast-moving times, offers you the peace that you rarely feel. The furnishings and furnishings of the rooms also left nothing to be desired, only the bathroom was a little older but still fully functional.The food to celebrate the wedding left nothing to be desired. There was soup, which was served on the tables, as well as a starter buffet and then a buffet with several meat dishes, fish, vegetables and various filling side dishes. Everything was cooked to perfection and very well seasoned.Finally, I would like to mention and emphasize the friendliness, reliability and expertise of Ms. Mehl and her family. You feel welcome from the first moment and no matter how long the celebration lasts, smiles continue and every wish is fulfilled. We celebrated for a long, very long time and went to breakfast early again and were warmly welcomed there too. Worth mentioning was the supply of coffee after such a long night. ;-)From the bottom of my heart, I would like to say thank you very much for such a wonderful weekend and I wish the Mehl family all the best, professionally and privately.
