We were very lucky to be able to celebrate our wedding with 80 guests at the Hammerwerk.The entire team supported us with all their heart and soul in the planning and implementation. Communication went absolutely smoothly. Setting up a large marquee and even having an external catering team share the kitchen were no problem at all. The food for three days was rustic, home-style or festive, depending on your preference, and always tasted delicious.We were allowed to use the table tennis tables as well as other games and even a campfire would have been possible.Guests could either move into one of the 50 beds or stay overnight in a camper/tent on the property. The accommodations are simple but clean.Many thanks to the Hammerwerk team - you made it possible for us to have an unforgettable wedding :)

The holiday resort is wonderfully quiet and idyllic in the middle of nature. On the premises there is a small pool, barbecue facilities, a fire pit and there is plenty of space for children to play and run around.

Very nice area, very quiet for relaxing hours. The holiday apartments are equipped with the most necessary and very functional, some are currently being renovated and visually upgraded, the price is absolutely right, breakfast and food are good, so we can easily recommend them. We had a family celebration there and really enjoyed the connection between overnight stays and also the possibility that you could be a little louder at night without disturbing the neighbors.Thank you.

Wonderfully quiet location in the forest. Spacious grounds, ideal for family celebrations or school trips. The staff is super nice and open to spontaneous ideas and requests.Definitely recommended if you love nature and feel comfortable in a cozy, simple but functional and lovingly designed environment.

I stayed at the hammer mill for work for a while.The facility is not far from the Czech border, right in the forest, in a valley and you can really switch off because there is no cell phone network. Wi-Fi is available in the accommodation itself.These are shared rooms and holiday apartments. The rooms are older but well maintained, some would need modernization.The outdoor areas offer space for relaxation and sporting activities such as swimming, volleyball and football. There is also a barbecue area.The breakfast and dinner are delicious and regional. The kitchen staff goes to great lengths to fulfill all special requests.All in all, a place where you can switch off and relax.

The manor house and outbuildings are very quiet in the beautiful Preßnitz valley. Meadows with lupins and hogweed surround the simply designed, clean nature/youth hostel. The food was simple, but very tasty and freshly prepared. The potato salad, the home-pickled meat and the garlic butter were particularly delicious! There will be beautiful memories of hikes, nightly campfires and absolute silence in the dark spruce forest. Unfortunately, a guided tour by the hunter was not possible.

I've been here three times in the last six months. No matter whether you go here with the little ones or the “big ones” - it is simply perfect. Great accommodation! Super nice people! And you definitely won't get bored here.
