A bit pricey if you book it on the same day but the location is in a very private place, sort of a forest. Parking space available, big room, self check in.

Booked this as a one night stay after finishing my walk. finished a day early, so asked if I could change my dates. staff was ok with this. staff where friendly and helpful. the place is in a nice quiet location on the edge of town. enjoyed my stay.

Friendly people, the staff is great, a lot of people come out to play on the weekends. It's only 20 Euros if you have your own gear.

Partyed in the restaurant until 1 a.m. The roommates "Poles" slammed doors until midnight. There is no consideration for a single mother with a 6 year old. No microwave available according to the sign on the stairs (refrigerator and microwave). I'm a bit disappointedThere were cobwebs and dirt in the corners of the room.

We feel welcome every time. Great price-performance ratio! The rooms are clean. The breakfast was great. And the Thuringian dumplings...come home pure!

The location was very nice. The staff super friendly. But the rooms were just a disaster. Dirty. There was hair everywhere, whether in the bathroom or in the bed. I don't know how long the bed hasn't been cleaned. But that was probably a while ago. I can't recommend this guesthouse more.

The food was very good. But the room was horribly dirty and we reported it. The lady said she would send someone up to clean again. Nothing happened, it stayed so dirty and nothing was cleaned. Hair in the bed and in the bathroom and the rest 👎 Definitely never again.

I celebrated my birthday here with family and friends. This was the perfect place for it. The buffet was great and delicious, the service was outstanding, always on hand so that no one was ever left out to dry.We also stayed overnight, the rooms in the guesthouse were good and clean, the breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired.The price-performance ratio is unbeatable.It should also be mentioned that there is a small zoo below the restaurant, which you can quickly visit with small children (so that they don't get bored :-)Conclusion: if the next celebration is coming up, the Hopfengrund is my first choice
