Were guests for 2 nights. Were received directly, very nicely. The room was nice, the food was delicious. The landlord very attentive. The sumptuous breakfast always included good tips for excursions. The only disadvantage is that there is parking on the street, although if everything is full, in the driveway if necessary. Conclusion: Home-style inn with a cozy atmosphere!

The inn is conveniently located for the Werratal cycle path. Our room was very spacious. Mr. Schmidt cooked us delicious food in the evening, and the breakfast was also delicious and rich with home-made jams. It's very comfortable to sit in the rustic dining room, and Mr. Schmidt provides the guests with interesting information about the area. We would stay there again at any time!

We were guests of the innkeeper Mr. Schmidt on the Werra cycle path. He looked after us very well. The dinner was very tasty and featured regional specialties. The room was clean and completely sufficient for one night. We can recommend the accommodation for cyclists.

Rustic inn with a very friendly host who is also an excellent cook and masters the regional cuisine. Really recommended if luxury is not an issue.

We spent one night here on our Werratalradweg tour and, thanks to the key box, we were able to easily get into the accommodation and park our bikes under the carport and walk to the neighboring Veßra monastery. The owner of the house personally wields the pot and pan and prepares very tasty home-cooked food and has all sorts of tips for the local area when serving. The breakfast was also very tasty and plentiful. The room was quite simple, but we slept very well. Thank you for everything.

We spent one night on the Werra cycle path; given the time of year and the weather, we were the only guests. The room was clean and functional, we were able to relax well. Although it was actually a day of rest, we were immediately treated to very tasty dishes by the host Mr. Schmidt. Mr. Schmidt has many good ideas for preparing the local fruits and herbs - unfortunately we couldn't try everything because there was so much delicious selection. We also received a lot of information about local history, sights and of course recipes. It was a very nice and entertaining stay.

A very nice host who can also cook well. The hotel itself has an authentic appearance with all kinds of funny objects that the man collects. We had a pleasant overnight stay here
