The guesthouse is well located close to the city center and the train station. Nevertheless, it is quiet at night. The rooms are equipped with everything you need and are beautifully decorated. The price is absolutely reasonable. If necessary, breakfast can be booked, but I didn't do that in this case.The owner, Ms. Scheibner, is extremely friendly and uncomplicated.I can only recommend the guesthouse for a stay in Köthen or the surrounding area.

From the street you enter through the gate into a lovingly designed, art-filled and warmly inviting courtyard that exudes a familiar and hospitable atmosphere. You immediately want to sit down and talk to the owner about the wonderful paintings and their history.All hallways and rooms are decorated with paintings, you are actually living in a fascinating museum, including all the emphatic and attentive hospitality of the two owners of the house.The breakfast was rich. Everything was fresh, appetizing and tasty.We felt very comfortable in the guesthouse and can highly recommend a stay there.

You sleep at the back and don't even hear that you're right on the main street. Beautifully and modernly furnished rooms, breakfast highly recommended, lots of homemade jam enough on the table to fill you up. The ladies from Rüdesheimer are very nice and polite, questions are answered.

Room furnishings were nice but the cleanliness still needs a lot of work.

Unfortunately I cannot agree with the excellent reviews. When it comes to service and humanity, Ms. Beran lacks everything. Due to a mistake on my part, which I made when checking in the evening before, I was "managed" and confronted by both ladies during breakfast. Ms. Beran verbally abused me. She did this extremely aggressively and maliciously, even though I pointed out several times that I had a business meeting afterwards and was completely stunned and astonished by the severity of the allegations. It would have been entirely possible to talk to me about it objectively and in an appropriate tone. This was not possible for Ms. Beran. Afterwards I was just happy to leave this accommodation at the end of the booked days and forget about my stay in this guesthouse.I had booked another stay there in advance, but was unable to travel to Köthen due to illness; I had a certificate from my doctor. This was clarified by telephone with the guesthouse.Today, Pentecost Sunday, a week later, Ms. Beran called me to verbally attack and insult me ​​again. I can only advise every guest to be careful. Although the rooms are very nice and the breakfast is nice. Good hostesses behave differently. On May 4th - 6th I was lucky enough to find nicer and better accommodation, with selected and well-trained staff. We were there for one night. The rooms were very comfortable and lovingly furnished. The breakfast was super tasty with homemade jam, lots of fruit and delicious rolls.You can also feel that there is a lot of passion and love in the loving design of the entire guesthouse.We'd love to come back.Greetings from HC Kassel! 🏑

We stayed as a family in this family-run guesthouse. Ms. Scheibner and Ms. Beran are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast (lovingly prepared by Ms. Beran) is great. The rooms are very cozy and quiet. The guesthouse is also not far from the city center, making it easy to reach on foot. The train station is only about 300 m away. If we are in Köthen again, we will definitely come back. Thank you very much.
