Me and a friend rented this apartment for 2 months during our studies in Anhalt University and it was like having a third roommate (the landlord). He came everyday at anytime to do random things. He didn't knock the door when he came, and the times he did, he didn't wait for an answer to know whether he could come in or not (let me add, we were 2 girls living there).In some occasions, he brought some people into the apartment to show the rooms without letting us know. Once it happened a Saturday morning at 9:00 am. I was in pijamas laying on my bed and he still came in.He didn't give us a contract, the only rule he mentioned was that we were not allowed to cook with garlic. As in theory guests were not forbidden, once we invited 2 friends to come over to watch a movie. He got angry (due to the possible extra use of WC in those 2-3hours) and we all had to leave the apartment to watch the movie somewhere else.The last days (to conclude this lovely experience), my friend left 2-3 days before the end of the month. We both paid for the whole month, so in theory the rooms were still "ours". Anyway, this person ignored that little detail and rented her room those days. The problem was that he also forgot to tell me some strangers were going to share the flat with me that night. I usually never locked my bedroom door. You can only imagine my surprise when I came in the apartment and found a dirty kitchen, dirty dishes and that my personal bathroom stuff was used.

Considering that we spontaneously needed a room for just 1 night on the same day (the effort is not a given... it's not a hotel) we were extremely satisfied. Very nice host. They make an effort, whether in terms of furnishings or as hosts, to make you feel welcome. Price/performance is also great. Gladly again if needed.

Very unfriendly answer. I asked for a room reservation and the answer came back: "It's not possible. Good thing" no greeting, nothing. So being hospitable is different.

Very nice guesthouse. Clean, well maintained and functionally furnished. Hosts very friendly and nice. Located close to the center and yet nice and quiet. This is the second time we have used the guesthouse and we will do so again. I would be happy to recommend them.

zero stars...😀👍very good statement, charging for a broken washing machine or dryer is the highlight... can only confirm the other report... mold, etc. 😤

The first impression was quite pleasant. Until you discovered certain things that were no longer okay. There can be no question of a “very well-maintained” property as it says in the description. And I'm not talking about crumbs or dust. Mold in the trash can, on and in the shower. There was mold in the fridge, although we informed the “host” about it straight away and he looked at it straight away. Then there is a side door that can only be opened by the host from the outside. If you complain about something or want to talk to him, he's there straight away (he probably lives there) but at the beginning without knocking. So he suddenly stands in the room. When asked to please knock next time, he responded by rolling his eyes and then becoming a bit bitchy. The next time he knocked, but he immediately stood in the door again without waiting for a sign that he could come in. So all in all, the host's style made us feel very uncomfortable and not comfortable at all. We wouldn't stay there again due to the cleanliness and the behavior of the host.
