LANDGUT PFAUENHOF

We were at the Pfauenhof estate for the first time this year and are absolutely thrilled! The landscape is amazing, the farm is great, the farm owners, Christine and Gottfried, are super nice, warm and personal! The holiday apartments are also great, a varied and beautiful program is offered and the riding lessons are great - my daughter has made enormous progress within the two weeks.All in all, we felt incredibly comfortable and definitely want to come back - thank you for everything :)

We (2 adults, 1 child) had a great week at the Pfauenhof with very friendly and committed hosts. We really liked the child-friendly integration into the farm “work”. There were great riding lessons, all in the middle of the nature of the Vulkaneifel.

We've been here 5 times.The whole concept just fits, pure vacation.We will definitely come back again.

A small family-run paradise for families with children: horses, ponies, rabbits, chickens, a lovely dog ​​named Bruno, plus a play barn, 2 riding areas, paddocks, a playground by the stream. We really enjoyed it here with our two daughters and our granddaughter, the youngest of the children at 2 1/2 years old.

We have been coming to this wonderful farm for many years and feel like we are in our second home, the warmth of the hosts is unique and the farm is well maintained!Our apartment is a bit older, but we still have everything we need!

We love traveling and are always discovering new places. For us, the Pfauenhof is the place we want to return to every year. We have already been there three times and the next vacation is already booked. And so you meet familiar faces there every year; anyone who has been to the Pfauenhof once comes back. :)We have been on many farm holidays but everything just fits here. The farm is beautifully and quietly located on the outskirts of the town and borders directly on the beautiful nature of the Vulkaneifel. Although you can go on a lot of great excursions in the immediate area, we always really enjoy the idyll at the Pfauenhof. The holiday apartments are very clean and lovingly furnished. We enjoy our stay in the holiday apartments with a view of the courtyard. When we arrived, we were always met with a small bouquet of fresh wildflowers and delicious home-baked cakes.Our daughter (9) already feels at home there and has made direct connections with other children on every vacation. The children can move freely and carefree in the yard, in the play barn, or down by the barbecue area in the beautiful natural playground with a stream.Highlights are of course the daily stable/pasture work and looking after horses, ponies, rabbits, sheep and chickens as well as the daily riding lessons or rides. Of course, this also includes picking up the horses from the pasture and cleaning them independently. Children and adults alike learn a lot during their stay. The lovely dog ​​Bruno is also always with us everywhere and cat lovers will always find a cat that is happy to be petted.Christine and Gottfried are always helpful, take time for their guests and offer other great offers such as equestrian games, barbecue evenings or a trip to see the organic Galloway cattle. We particularly like the fact that all the animals here are not only kept in a species-appropriate manner but also with great care. A point that is very important to us when it comes to farm holidays and which is more than fulfilled here.In the summer months, for example, a trip to the Pulvermaar or the Endertbach provides a pleasant way to cool off.For us, the Pfauenhof is a real insider tip and we will hopefully enjoy many more holidays there.

The weather can be uncomfortable in the Eifel, but even then you can have a wonderfully relaxing holiday at the Pfauenhof. The rhythm of the farm helps. If you want, you can clean the stables with Gottfried at 8 a.m. and then take the horses to the pasture. In the evening the whole thing is returned. In addition, the program that the very nice hosts offer: horse riding, pony driving license, barbecue evening, coffee and cake, feeding the Galloway cattle... Not only the children enjoyed this, but also the parents. And of course you can go on wonderful trips to the highlights of the Volcanic Eifel or simply start walking directly from the farm.

We stayed with three children in one of the holiday apartments at Obstgarten. It was a great week.Very warm welcome and very successful integration (if desired) and support throughout the stable work and riding. Animals and people are perfectly cared for here on the farm. Grilling together was also a nice experience.The holiday apartments are very stylish and lovingly furnished, the bathrooms are modern.The farm is quietly located on the edge of the village, directly on hiking trails. Also ideal for hiking or running.Thank you!

Perfect accommodation for a farm holiday with children. The apartments are comfortable and there is more than enough to do on the farm: working in the stable, feeding the animals, playing in the hay barn and going for rides in the area on the horses present. The owners are very hospitable and give you the opportunity to really become part of their farm and they are happy to tell you about their work. They also speak very good English!You can take beautiful walks in the area. The small village of Utzerath is a lot less touristy than directly on the Moselle, so it is nice and quiet, but with plenty of sights in the area. We will definitely come back again.
