Very nice hotel in a rural setting. The staff is very friendly.The rooms are big and tidy. The breakfast and dinner are also very good and offer everything you need.The location is also very quiet. Thank you very much for the great service!

When we arrived we looked for the wheelchair parking spaces. At the front of the reception entrance (we only noticed later) we didn't find one (the parking lot had a dark blue pictogram on a dark background) - you can't tell. Usually these are yellow.Now we drove to the next parking lot where there was the same dark blue pictogram again. We were able to park there. Unfortunately it wasn't marked where the hotel and reception entrance was. To get to the actual hotel entrance there was a very steep ramp that cannot be managed by a wheelchair user alone (something definitely needs to be changed here).When we realized that it was locked, we had to go back to the correct reception entrance with our bags and luggage. Unfortunately, as a wheelchair user, I had to go far outside again because there was a high threshold above the “beer garden”.After filling out the registration form we had to go back to the "hotel entrance" - taking the whole detour in the wheelchair because of the stupid threshold.When I arrived in the room, I was shown the wet room where I was horrified to discover that the shower was in a niche, there was only a narrow, small and slanted plastic stool and there was a short, vertical grab bar (see pictures).When I asked why there was no horizontal grab bar, I was told that it would look like a hospital and I would be the first to complain. Even the Paralympic team that had already been there would have had a great time.I also found the proportions of the toilet bowl and the handles to be far too far apart and the handles should have been at least 20cm longer.The sink was easily accessible, but the faucet was very far back, so you had to lean very far forward.The cosmetic mirror is also mounted way too high up. Doesn't a wheelchair user have the right to look at herself in the cosmetic mirror???The clothes rail in the closet was also too high and couldn't be folded out.The bed was quite high but could be climbed because the mattress was far too soft (especially at the edge).Unfortunately I couldn't go out onto the balcony and enjoy the beautiful view because there was a very high edge here too.I also found it very dangerous that the stairs start at the elevator and are not secured. You could fall down here in a wheelchair!!!A wheelchair user wants to be as independent as possible, which unfortunately was not possible here.At least the room was quite large and there was a separate room with a bunk bed for the children.The WiFi in room 31 was not available.Unfortunately, I can only recommend the fine, delicious cuisine, but not the hotel for wheelchair users.

Stopped here for dinner after a beautiful 3D obstacle course. The service was quick and the food didn't take too long to arrive. There was schnitzel with fried potatoes, although I liked the fried potatoes best, the schnitzel was ok. So on the whole I'd be happy again.

Stopped in at short notice during a hike...very friendly service...pleasant atmosphere...tasty beer...sausage salad can be garnished a little more lovingly...

We spent 2 nights in this hotel/restaurant.Very well received. The kindness, the friendliness of the managers.Also the calm of this establishment, its cleanliness and its location in the black forest.The room was exceptional and the quality of the bedding.A wide choice breakfast;We will return with great pleasure.Raymond WEISS

Very good restaurant, I can't rate the room, it was only there for eating.

We had a really nice and relaxing stay. The rooms were modern, spacious and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was rich and therefore the perfect start to the day. The dinner was very tasty with nice service. We can recommend the hotel without reservation. Thank you!
