We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary at the Grischäfer as a large family celebration with around 80 guests. We were very, very satisfied and are very grateful to Mr. Holzhauer for the organization. All wishes fulfilled, deluxe grill buffet very tasty, friendly and attentive service, pleasant overnight stay with extra beds and children's beds in the hotel right on site. All in all, a highly recommended celebration location!!!

The Hotel Grischäfer far exceeded our expectations! We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, always ready to give us help and advice.Our room was very cozy and tastefully decorated, with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The breakfast was delicious and varied, with a wide selection of fresh products.We would also like to particularly highlight the hotel's wellness area, which invites you to relax with a sauna, steam bath and whirlpool. After a long day in the mountains, this was just the thing!We can only warmly recommend the Hotel Grischäfer and are already looking forward to our next stay. Thank you for an unforgettable time!

I visited the restaurant with my family. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio doesn't match the quality of the food at all. The duck dumplings were out of the bag, the schnitzel was greasy. Unfortunately, the menu didn't say that there were pickles in the potato salad. Except for two dishes, the menu consists only of meat. This is all out of date and too expensive for the price of €30++ per main course. Small plus: The service was very friendly and helpful. If the dishes cost around €20, it would be 3 stars. So unfortunately only 2. Mediocre quality for too much money.

I have always experienced this restaurant as a fine dining restaurant. For example, with almost stunning buffets at Christmas time.Unfortunately, today we had a completely new experience:Aperitif the size of a cocktail is unusual and makes little sense if you want to eat several more courses. But the taste is perfect.The supposedly spicy chicken soup was anything but spicy and was rather disappointing compared to the soups I had previously experienced from Grischäfer.The main courses, farmer's duck, fillet plate and char were very different in quality, but the fillet plate was the best overall. Unfortunately, the char was swimming in butter. Fat is a flavor carrier, but too much of it destroys the delicate taste of the actually wonderfully soft char, which has also received too much salt.The situation was similar with the farmer's duck, which was also swimming in fat; the jus with which it was served was thick, not homogeneous, but separated from the fat and was too salty.My comment to the waitress that we weren't so happy this time because we were used to better things in this restaurant was received in a friendly manner, but there was no reaction from the kitchen.We met there to celebrate my daughter's birthday and decorated candles and streamers on the table and had a helium balloon with us. The occasion was completely ignored. Not that I expected a free drink, that's not necessary, but perhaps a friendly or thoughtful comment at the table. Unfortunately none.The final espresso wasn't convincing either because it wasn't hot, just warm.I hope, dear Grischäfer, you just had a bad day. With a bill of 140€ for 3 people you can expect better.Only 2.5 out of 5... In case anyone asks.

I was there with several friends. We had booked a medieval table. There were 7 courses, all of which were very rich and tasty. The service was excellent, you just had to wait a long time for drinks to be replenished. Any time. The atmosphere is cozy and absolutely clean
