A well-kept restaurant in a historic building. The professional, very attentive staff has art supplies and other toys available for little guests. After a reasonable wait, excellent, very tasty food was served. We'd love to come back.

I'm convinced! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Sat outside in the autumn sun for a little stopover for a biker stop for afternoon coffee and cake. There was apple pie with cream and cappucino. It was delicious. Cake 1A. And the cappucino was also very appealing. The service is friendly and the male part even wears all black with a tie and vest. Top. 👍 This is (unfortunately) no longer a given these days. The bottom line is that there is a clear RECOMMENDATION for coffee & cake, service and ambience!

It's always something special when my husband and I go out to eat at the Almer Schlossmühle, but today we were disappointed 😞, we couldn't fault the food, delicious as always. But we have never experienced service that was so inattentive. It took an hour and a half for the food to be served, it wasn't cleared up in between, the wine didn't always arrive on time and I could name a lot more inattentiveness. We are happy to spend a lot of money on food, but we also want to feel like we are welcome

We happened to pass there today on the way home and made a spontaneous stop because the beer garden and the ambience seemed so great. The gentleman in service seemed rushed and fake friendly. The menu is rather exclusive and in my opinion too French and too expensive for a lunch menu. When asked about allergenic ingredients, the order was placed without further inquiry. We only got an answer about the ingredients when we asked the waitress again. We then left the food because it unfortunately didn't meet our expectations in any way. The rib was a thick rib and not spare ribs. Too bad. The misunderstanding would not have occurred if the menu had been in German. There was apparently grated cheese on the meat, which only when asked (allergy) turned out to be horseradish. The waiter was visibly annoyed and probably didn't care. We then paid for the meal without eating. Reasonable advice about allergens and a German card could have prevented this. Really a shame. But the ambience was nice.

There were two of us.The restaurant was nice and warm and appropriately furnished with attention to detail. The greeting from the kitchen was delicious, as was the bread with spreads. The salad was great. The soup was super delicious. But then the main course, the duck breast. It was lukewarm, completely cooked through and the skin was limp. The Brussels sprouts (according to the menu) were conspicuous by their absence, but there was red cabbage.Everything tasted fine.Dessert was a sorbet that was frozen rock hard.We had hoped for a nice evening (there were no shortage of awards at the entrance), but we were disappointed.Well, it can't always be perfect.

We celebrated our civil wedding in the Schlossmühle with a wedding menu for around 20 people. The contact was always friendly, courteous and reliable. The arrangements in advance, even when there were repeated requests for changes to the proposed menu, were uncomplicated and quick. Even on the day itself, as a newly married couple, we were able to sit back and enjoy the great service from the Schlossmühle team - nothing was left to be desired. The pretty, rustic ambience could be decoratively complemented by flowers and table decorations in collaboration and thus met our expectations to the fullest satisfaction. We would celebrate our wedding anniversary here again at any time - and will definitely do so again in the future! Many warm greetings to the Almer Schlossmühle team!

Did not use rooms. Bathroom dies not seem wheelchair accessible. The menu is pricey. The wiener schnitzel is super thin but tasty with Preiselbeeren and 🍋.The Kaiserschmarrn did not convince us.
