Wonderful place for a quiet break in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Highly recommended. In particular the lovingly decorated themed rooms based on writers. The small farm shop with homemade jams and home-made honey is a joy.

If you are looking for peace, inspiration and connection with nature, you have come to the right place! So lovingly furnished rooms invite you to linger and browse the extensive collection of books. I suddenly felt like I was transported back to my childhood, when I - really - couldn't finish an evening without a book.I've been a guest twice now and didn't feel like a guest at all, I felt like I had arrived and felt welcome. With or without the company of Laila or Anders, just as I needed it, dawdling and relaxing on the large property with its many mysterious corners, community when I wanted it - that was exactly the right thing for me.A special place for individuals, families and groups that I expressly recommend!Addition from the perspective of a retreat organizer:In Sept. 2024 I had the pleasure of running a nature retreat for a group and heritage life was our "base". Laila and Anders welcomed the participants and me in a friendly, warm, attentive, calm, relaxed and flexible manner, responding to their wishes. The film bar, the communal kitchen or the fireplace were available with a sure instinct. The source of inspiration Park anyway. And we had the pleasure of being able to look at a clear starry sky without any “light pollution” - a great experience, especially for city dwellers. If you want to work in peace with a small group, this place is recommended.Thank you very much! Petra

As part of a nature retreat, we stayed in cultural heritage for a long weekend. Rooms furnished with great attention to detail and the wonderland (shop) in the entrance area invite you to browse. We were warmly welcomed by Laila and Anders and were well looked after at all times, because in addition to the cozy, delicious meals we shared, they also gave us all sorts of valuable tips for exploring the surrounding area. We were able to purchase the delicious homemade jams and honey that we were allowed to eat for breakfast in Wunderland and thus extend our holiday feeling at home.

We spent a very nice weekend there in May 2024 and were alone in the accommodation. We can imagine having a good time there with the family or people who feel the same way. The shared kitchen is more than fully equipped and we catered for ourselves. There is a bus stop within walking distance (1 km), but we didn't need it because we were there in our own car. Near this bus stop there is a café that operates on weekends and public holidays, in the old Quadenschönfeld train station. The rooms are small and cozy and very lovingly designed. We took advantage of the nice weather to relax on the sunny terrace. Many thanks to the very friendly and considerate hosts!

I was able to spend a few days in this wonderful, special place. In the middle of nature you can relax wonderfully, be inspired and recover from stress, hectic pace, anger... Laila and Anders are wonderful hosts who are extremely hard-working and have lovingly designed everything, both the rooms and the surrounding garden.I can only recommend this place and will spend a few days there again soon.

I spent four nights at the Kulturgutleben retreat and had a wonderful time.Laila and Anders made my stay very personal and accompanied it. Everything is possible, nothing is neccesary. And so there were quiet moments, entertaining moments, interesting moments, funny moments and many unique moments. The fact that the hostess and host are very connected to nature becomes very clear in their garden. And because there are no fences, a deer and its kitten said goodbye on the last morning. Many thanks again to Anders and Laila for my experience with you and also to the wonderful Poplars for their warm applause for this quiet refuge. All the best to you all!

An oasis of peace, because the clocks tick differently here and “Welcome to Alcie in Wonderland”. My maisonette apartment was furnished by the hosts with great attention to detail. I particularly liked the communal kitchen on the ground floor. A welcoming place to spend time alone or in company. The large garden must be a dream in summer, but even in winter it is a haven of peace with lots of seating and hidden corners.

Such a gem, just to fall in love with!A little magical world was created here with such love and dedication. As soon as I entered the little shop my heart beat faster and I could have browsed there for the three days of our short vacation! We stayed in the “Jane Austin” suite, simply magical 😍 we felt so comfortable! In the beautiful communal kitchen it was wonderful every morning to admire the many little details that invite you into Alice's world. You can hardly find so much love and dedication today and I am particularly happy about how respectful and grateful people treat our beautiful nature there! Here you can say cultural heritage life is the perfect expression!I'm happy that there are people like the Mahfouz family! And here’s to our next visit!!
