I have had several bad experiences here. There was no one there when I arrived - I was told to call a phone number. Good. A woman answered who didn't know anything about a room reservation. The room had been reserved and paid for sufficiently long in advance. There was no confirmation of the reservation and payment. The woman asked her husband which room she should give me. One word led to another until the man was actually shouting at his wife. I was about to hang up and find something else. A code gave me a house and room key, which I used to get into the house. When I asked if I would get breakfast, I got the answer: "We'll manage that too.", even though the room had of course been reserved with breakfast.The room was reasonably clean, there was no housekeeping after the first night.The breakfast was ok, but during breakfast I was asked to ensure that the bill was paid, even though the room had already been paid for in November. The hotel manager didn't even bother to check for payment, so I was asked again about payment on the second night. Disorganization!The house and the rooms are considerably outdated and the room price is absolutely unjustified. For five euros less per night, I can get a room with breakfast in a wellness hotel with a sauna and swimming pool in Innsbruck next weekend.I cannot recommend this hotel and would definitely look for other accommodation if I stayed in Friedland again.

Just a "pension" because only assembly workers spend the night there most of the time, who are loud in the evenings in parking lots that aren't even part of the "hotel" and even the police have to come because the residents rightly feel disturbed by this, especially after 10 p.m . This doesn't seem to bother the operator as the reputation of the "hotel" suffers as a result. I just hope that the public order office and the police check there more because there is an absolute ban and parking is done in parking spaces that do not belong to the hotel but where residents or shops (pharmacies) have rented them and pay for them every month.

Booking online was not possible. After the 4th phone call it worked. No advance information about check-in/out.The room was a disaster. Pungent stench of menthol, rancid carpet, the mattresses were worn out and belong in the trash.The bathroom has also seen better days. Dust webs wherever the eye can see, indefinable splash marks on the tiles, floor coverings are swollen and cracked. The joints were full of mold and the toothbrush glasses provided no longer fit any dirt.Breakfast was ok. But you can't go wrong with rolls and toppings. However, charging €12.50 per person per day is outrageous. Price/performance doesn't fit.The cleaning/service staff seemed to be trying hard but was completely overwhelmed. Also, making disparaging comments about former guests about their breakfast habits does not show much competence.Unfortunately, the alternatives on site were fully booked and we didn't have a tent and sleeping bag on hand.

The service is very nice and accommodating.Unfortunately, the rooms are very old and the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired.Carpet is very unsightly and the bathroom needs to be replaced immediately.Location is in the middle of town and everything is easily accessible.

Easy booking by telephone. Staff friendly and tried to make the best of it.Very basic rooms with an incredibly dirty carpet. It's better to put something on the chairs before sitting down. The whole hotel seems shabby. Beds were clean and ok.The breakfast is simple and sufficient.

I came from Poland for two weeks and that's it I'm disgusted with this hotel! The worst hotel I've ever been in, works poorly and congests terribly. The reexepcionist does not understand catastrophe in English.
