The place is beautifully laid out and offers a lot. A playground, a swimming lake and a supermarket are available. However, I have to agree with many other recessions. The extensive set of rules, controls, etc. spoil the relaxed holiday mood. A few rules are certainly needed everywhere, but here they are overdone. Especially with children or dogs. So it's more for people who want absolute peace. We will not come back and are looking for a place with “French charm” again.

Quiet campsite with mainly permanent seasonal mobile homes, but also a few very nice tour spots. Good and clean sanitary facilities and a very nice swimming lake

In itself a very nicely located campsite with a lot of potential.UNFORTUNATELY, almost all showers and toilets are very old or were simply built carelessly and without a plan. To take a warm shower you have to put money in (which very often doesn't work either).What's more, the staff is very, very unfriendly and simply won't let you talk to them. Maybe some training would be appropriate or just a nicer attitude towards customers.

2nd stay at this expertly run campsite.If you come to Muhlenbach it is for total relaxation. Calm, tranquility to forget the passing of time, above all not to be connected, to enjoy the surrounding nature. If you love fishing, hiking or cycling, this is the ideal place.This is not the place to party until late.

The place is quiet and very pretty, ideal for resting. As for the reception, it is the bare minimum, a rigid style which perhaps comes from the nearby Bitche camp. We don't have the same concept of commerce and hospitality.

A really great place. We were there with 2 motorhomes. The place is extremely clean (including the sanitary facilities) and we felt completely comfortable. The location is just great. Each pitch has its own table, bench and parasol. The people on the square are very friendly. We will definitely and happily come back. LG Andreas

Unbelievable. If you speak only English no chance to check in. I arrived 15 of June 24 reception was closed . Only chat possible via intercom on the wall. When I tried to check in NO ENGLISH NO CHECK IN. It was so RACIST!!!!!! Instructions on the wall was in English but lady which i was tried to speak with probably was so proud as a French. Conclusion: AVOID THIS UNPLEASANT PLACE !!!

Beautifully located campsite, registration had to be in a higher main building, with a nice lady. I got a spot right next to other guests while campingwas largely empty. I would have preferred to have the option to choose a spot myself so that I had more privacy. The picnic table was very useful! Sanitary facilities were super neat. The area was beautiful, wonderfully located in the middle of nature. The campsite is located in a valley with a beautiful lake, where you can fish and a beautifully landscaped beach. You can enjoy beautiful walks in the forest.

Found a campsite through a brochure behind the windshield wiper in Bitche. Unfortunately, the brochure only states that pets are welcome, but not that this only applies to 1 pet. So we had to look for another campsite

The manager with his pacpac cart there, it would perhaps be good to do a course of sociability and respect towards people. I just looked for my way by parking in its “parking lot” which is in no way written “private”. Come to Y and skid with his golf cart to tell us to leave that it's his parking lot with a tone and insolence that would make the birds in forced migration come home. I don't recommend it given the opinions on the staff.

Ideal place for hikers, quiet and picturesque.We chose the cabin and the shared kitchen. Very clean, equipped with dishes, fridge, gas stove, perco...The sanitary area right next door.3 day stay, after our hiking days, we couldn't wait to quickly return to the cabin to relax in the deckchairs in our little private corner.To recommend

The most expensive price I've ever paid for pitching a tent. I do think it's a little overpriced for tenting, though understandably it's not really suited for backpackers or hikers, especially small solo tents and single persons, mainly because a pitch is a pitch and can accommodate families and campervans, thus you're essentially paying a rate as a single individual for a space that can accommodate many including vehicles. The price was approximately €18.70 for one night without electricity for a small tent and 1 person. The site is very idyllic and I can only complement the aesthetic of the place. It would be a perfect place for days or weeks with family rather than a 1 night cycle stop. The shower is also token based and upon arrival after a long tiring day on the bicycle, it took the coin but failed to provide water, thus I was unable to shower as reception had since closed, which was not good. 3/5 and I would recommend for families but not for cyclists or hikers. The adjacent campsite 20km away, also in a beautiful setting is €8.00 per night vs the €18.70 here.

Personally, I can't understand all the bad reviews. I arrived late in the evening with a large backpack and broken feet, was greeted with a smile and got the best seat without a reservation. I found the peculiarities of the lady at reception quite endearing. She even gave me, a sweaty hiker, a shower chip :)With the rules, of which there are admittedly a few (e.g. lunchtime rest), you probably want to keep the peace on the square and prevent “party tourism”. Which I can actually understand. So it's a calm and relaxed atmosphere, at the end of the world.Cell phone reception is barely there... but it's a pond surrounded by mountains, what do you expect?! Just climb a mountain :D Otherwise there is also WiFi at the reception.Sanitary facilities are a bit sparse, for which one star is deducted, but still completely okay.I will come back again.
