Very nice rooms, spacious and clean. A quiet location on a little hill, almost in the middle of nowhere. The stay was really nice. The only downturn was that the guest house was already closed for the season. So, I could not get breakfast nor dinner. Thank you!

Highly recommended. We were here to ride the Stoneman. Perfectly located on the halfway point and therefore ideal for driving the route in 2 days without moving. The rooms are extremely comfortable and very clean. The owner is very friendly and helpful. On the main street (2 minutes walk from the hotel) there is a small restaurant with delicious pizza. Perfect after a long tour. We'll definitely be back. We really liked it.

We were on the ridge path and were welcomed very warmly despite it being a rest day - there was even coffee and cake especially for the tired hikers. The room was spotlessly clean and very bright, the bathroom was wheelchair accessible. Since there weren't that many hikers out and about after the restaurants opened after the corona pandemic, the nice landlady found plenty of time to chat with us. The breakfast was terrific, times better than in the previous star hotel!!! Thank you again for the extremely pleasant stay - we can definitely recommend this accommodation.

The welcome was very warm, the rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated. Yes, the menu is clear, but you don't need a 3-course meal in this wonderful nature!In the end we didn't really want to leave and decided to come back!!!Thank you Bärbel and family

You receive a very warm welcome and you care about your guests. Of course, Eastern charm, but that's exactly what you expect here. The menu is clear, but the food is delicious. Very authentic people. Three thumbs up :)

The Bergschänke impresses with its special charm and is enlivened by the cute hostess, who looked after us very warmly. The rooms are furnished in nostalgic Eastern charm but are very clean and cozy. The food, good home cooking, is cooked fresh, hot and very tasty on request. The hostess anticipates every wish of her guests. When we left, we each received a homemade gift. We were happy to be here and also a little sad when we left.Of course we would like to come back again. Promised.

Warm welcome, comfortable room and entirely homemade cuisine, I really enjoyed the Apfelstrudel with its scoop of vanilla ice cream and homemade whipped cream. Good address!
