A campsite with a lot of places for regular and friendly and quiet camping guests. The reception guy was very friendly and gave us a place with relatively a lot of privacy, as these places/lots are rather open with no bushes to mark them. Toilets and showers are clean. You can start several hikes from there in the lovely Dahn hiking area. That would be my main reason to return again.

This is a great place to stay. Close to all walking/MTB/bike trails. Very quiet. Camping personnel does their best so you feel really welcome there.Facilities are super clean! (Only "-" - are the curtains in the shower, plastic door would be more hygienic, but even though the showers are very clean!).Internet is not the best, but it didn't bother us as we were or hiking or biking around. And in the evening I had my book with me. For internet addicted it can be a bit of a frustration. (Though the day we were leaving they were maintaining the Internet, so can be that it's good now).Camping pitches are well maintained, have water and electricity supply. You can eat at the camping - and it's very good!Every day there is an option to order bread. There is a washing machine and a comfortable place to wash dishes. And a drink water supply. If you need luxury and swimming pool, you'd better be looking for something else. If you need nature, solid place for your tent, quiet moments, possibility to bike/walk/run and hot shower after - this is a place to be.Once again - many thanks to all camping personnel for all your work!

The location is great. There is a smooth bike path to Dahn. There are plenty of hike trails with great views. There is enough to do for 4 or more days, especially if you have bikes. The camping showers are great, be sure to get coins for it on arrival. The toilets, water, washing areas are fine. There is bad cell reception, so be sure to get wifi as well. The hostess is very friendly, but does not speak english. She tried to park us at the entrance of the camping, but thanks to another camper who does speak english we could get a nicer spot. The campsite is on quite uneaven terrain, which could probably be fixed. There are many permanent campers with walled fences, giving the camping a somewhat messy vibe. Dont expect luxury. It was very peaceful and quiet in september, and was a great place to stay when you expect to spend most of the day outside and away from the camping anyways.

Wonderfully quiet campsite. This campsite has potential but is not there yet.No hassle about dog fields like the neighbors. The first dog is even free. The prices are very reasonable. The manager is very neat and benevolent. Showering costs 1 euro for 7 minutes, which I think is a reasonable price, you pay for what you use. There is a bistro/imbis where you can get ice cream and a quick bite. The campsite is a great base for exploring the area on foot, by bike or by car.We had a wonderful week here.(Personal) Negative points:There are many permanent pitches at this campsite and some are so neglected and that does not improve the first impression of the campsite. The 2 showers, 3 toilets and 6 sinks are in 1 room and that is not possible. Brushing your teeth or showering in the air of someone in the toilet should be prohibited. There is a bread roll service in the morning, we thought the rolls were very bad and we got them ourselves from the fresh bakery 2.7 km away.

Nice place, unfortunately little shade, which is also communicated by the operator. Sanitary facilities are available but unfortunately the showers are right next to the toilets. Small restaurant right on the square, food is good. The hiking trails that lead directly past the site are wonderful. Place is very quiet.

If you are looking for a quiet, very simple campsite, you have come to the right place 👍! Very friendly staff, older sanitary facilities but very clean. Countless hiking and cycling paths directly from the site. We'd love to come back. Beck family.

We weren't guests at the campsite, but we went to the Mossbachtalstübchen almost every day for a quick stop. What a positive surprise! We still cook honestly here. Both hosts were always friendly and accommodating. My husband is a dialysis patient and is not allowed to eat many things. In particular, he is not allowed to use instant sauces. Also no potato side dishes. Our wishes were taken into account here. If necessary, a suitable side dish was cooked separately. And every complete meal includes vegetables. Where else can you find that? We'd love to come back. Especially since we made new, dear friends in the four weeks.Gaby and Uwe

This was the best campsite on my road trip so far! Very friendly people in the suburbs and the landscape really sweetens the stay. The toilets/showers were also very clean. I was even able to see the Northern Lights during my stay. I can only recommend it to everyone!!!

We were traveling with a camper for the first time and found this quiet and idyllic place. Very friendly operator. Really great for relaxing. Mainly there are long-term campers here. The location is great for cycling and hiking. We cycled to Weissenburg in France, about 30 km away. Was a great tour.Sanitary facilities are getting old, but they are clean and there are enough of them. Showering costs €1 for about 7 minutes, which was completely sufficient for me. A few kilometers away is the town of Dahn, where there are many restaurants and supermarkets. We really liked it!
