At Christmas time I went back to Rust to visit Europa Park. I booked a room at Rana Guesthouse. First I called the owner, who was very friendly and competent on the phone, and then booked a room for two nights including breakfast. The distance between the guest house and the main entrance of the Europa Park is about 10 minutes on foot. Two streets next to the guesthouse there is a supermarket and a bakery, for those who would like to get some supplies for their visit to Europa Park. The guest house is on a side street and it is very quiet. Parking spaces are also available in front of the guest house. The entrance tickets can also be purchased in the guest house. This saves you the hassle of queuing at the cash registers and you can go straight to the park. Unfortunately, annual passes can only be purchased at the information desk directly at the park.I received a warm welcome and was made to feel very welcome. The room consists of a bedroom with a bathroom. The room looks very inviting and comfortable. The bathroom is modern and very bright. The equipment of the triple room I booked: A double bed and a single bed, a spacious wardrobe, TV and bedside lamps. There is also a terrace that you can use when the weather is nice. The bathroom has a towel warmer, underfloor heating and a hairdryer. Towels and bath towels, as well as free WiFi and a refrigerator that you can use, were included in the service. The cleanliness of my room was terrific. Everything in the bathroom was also perfect. Breakfast was a good start to the next day with a rich buffet. The additional service during breakfast was terrific. There are guesthouses and guesthouses where everything is simply thrown onto the breakfast table and then what's gone is gone. Not so, in the Rana guest house. The owners keep coming to ask if everything is OK, if you can brew coffee again, if you can have another egg for breakfast, if anything else is missing, sausage, cheese, rolls... From what I've seen, there are There is a separate breakfast room for each room. Correct me if this is not the case. I haven't asked now. The breakfast buffet includes: rolls with and without grains, pretzels and croissants. There were different types of jam, nut nougat, spread, honey and butter. If you would like an egg for breakfast, this will of course not be denied and you will also be offered a second helping. Muesli and cornflakes were also included. Not to forget, sausage and cheese were also part of the buffet. To drink there was coffee, milk, cocoa, different types of tea and orange juice. Fresh fruit was also offered for an additional vitamin bomb. After visiting Europa Park, I found my room completely prepared. The beds were made, the used towels and bath towels were replaced and the used drinking glasses were also replaced. On the day of departure, payment was made, there was some friendly small talk and I drove home refreshed and without any hassle. My conclusion: For the price you can't complain. Cleanliness impeccable, service impeccable. The condition of the room was also perfect. It's probably clear to everyone that the guest house is my number one favorite.Highly recommended. Thank you for your attention
