Clean and nicely decorated rooms. The breakfast was great and sufficient! The guesthouse is located a bit away from Heiligenstadt, so a short walk to the nearest supermarkets was necessary - but not bad. We can definitely recommend the guesthouse :)

In the Pension Hösch you can have a delicious lunch on Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. if you order in advance. Our quarter duck and roulades are simply a poem. We were thrilled with the service and food. We then hiked from Burggrub to Heiligenstadt and back in the beautiful Leinleitertal. And because we liked it so much with the Hösch family, we went back for coffee and cake. There was also cappuccino and a fine selection of cakes. We would like to come again.

We were a tour group of 5 people (men)All expectations were exceeded.Friendliness is very important, including breakfastwas superhumanly good.The dinner also deserves 5 stars.This inn is on our list of the best places to stay.

The Oskar Hösch family is very hospitable. The rooms are clean and cozy. Breakfast buffet is plentiful. Franconian Switzerland is a hiking paradise.

This privately run inn has great rooms, inexpensive about 20 minutes from Bamberg. The innkeepers are very nice and the food is rich and tastes really good. So when I have work to do in and around Bamberg, I only stay here.
