As part of our big bike trip we spent a night at the Black Eagle in Gerswalde. When we got there we were greeted very warmly. The owner showed us to our room and offered to make us a warm dinner, even though the catering business was closed. We got a hearty schnitzel with fries. Plus a well-chilled beer. The food was more than tasty and plentiful. The breakfast the next morning was also very good and plentiful. The room was furnished in a traditional style and very comfortable. We would especially like to thank the owner for his hospitality. Our path will definitely lead us here again!!!!

The restaurant has not been open since Corona, it only offers room rentals with breakfast.Regarding the rooms, style like in the late 80s, everything is a bit old and worn out, but it serves its purpose.Restaurant in general needs some renovation.So..now here's something I've been pondering about, in the relevant rental portals the prices are stated including the service fee of the portal for brokerage, e.g. TripAdvisor room XY €54 including breakfastor Check24 room XY 47€ including breakfast,Always with breakfast, no matter where you booked the room... When my colleagues and I arrived, I asked the owner what time the breakfast would be, to which the owner replied that the rooms were booked without breakfast by our company, and one There would be an extra charge! To that I just say "I would be a rogue who thinks bad things🤣😉" that's how you can earn money in the deepest dark of Germany🤣🤣Finally, you can spend the night there for a short time, but nothing more, oh yes, the nearest Netto would be 24km away in Prenzlau😂 otherwise the fox hangs dead over the fence in the village.

I was here for the second time now.The rooms are okay from a price/performance perspective. The host is really super nice and you could always have a little chat. The food is simply top, you can tell that the cooking here is done with desire and passion. I'd love to come by again.

We got a room in the inn at very short notice on our bike tour and were given a very warm welcome. The room was very clean and we felt very comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was also very lovingly prepared and delicious. We'd be happy to come back at any time when we're passing through.

Very, very good food. There was nothing going on, probably closed because of Corona. But I stayed there overnight and the owner of the house cooked really well and made everything possible. The friendliness is very worth mentioning.The rooms were clean and tidy, but somewhat dated.

Getting there is easy. The rooms are okay. The food is great!!!! And there are plenty of them too. Otherwise very familiar, special requests are happy to be fulfilled and the innkeeper is always available for a humorous chat. We wish him many more nice guests!!
