We spent a long weekend in the holiday apartment and went hiking, drank wine and relaxed wonderfully. The landlords are very accommodating and ensure a pleasant stay. The apartment is equipped with everything and clean, there was enough space and there were fresh rolls for breakfast every day. The holiday apartment is quietly located on a side street and you can enjoy the view of the vineyards from the balcony.

Since we and the family have now discovered the Moselle and its towns/villages for a little break from everyday life, this of course also extends to the wine, which we taste here and there. From Landal or CenterParcs we then go on an exploration tour into the Moselle valley.Two years ago we came across Andrae-Goebel wines in a shop in Cochem.We looked for sweet or sweet wines and, with advice, found wines that had been awarded the Kammerpreismünze, among others, which we then tried and took with us. Now, once again on the Moselle, we went to the same shop with these wines again, but we wanted more...We wanted to get to know the producer who makes this really tasty wine.So we drove to Ernst, a small town right next to Cochem.The first contact in the wine bar was very friendly and familiar. As nice as you call into the forest, it came back twice as good. We were invited to try other wines that we noticed upon entry and then bought. Of course this was businesslike, but it was ultimately what we wanted... and, we felt, it came from the housemother's heart.It even got to the point where we were asked if we wanted to take a quick look at the back of the company to see how wine-making goes.Once there, we were eager to ask our questions, which were answered in an informative and great way by the winemaking family. (Thank you again for that!!)We will definitely soon have enjoyed the Elegance, Kerner and other delicious wines and will certainly go back to the Moselle very quickly. And definitely back to the Andrae-Goebel family.We also found it very good that the winemaking family's offering includes organic wines, which are grown by their daughter. :)(I would like to give this more than 5 stars, but unfortunately that's not possible ;) )See you again soon, and with great pleasure.. :D

I have to admit that I'm not a wine drinker, but I did indulge in wine drinking during my short vacation. In a local hotel I started with white wine Riesling Edelüß for dinner. Was delicious. Then I drank a lovely white wine and was initially thrilled. These wines were available at the Andrae Goebel wine shop in the same town. Of course we went and bought wine. Advice was very competent and friendly. In my opinion, prices were local. It feels like there is a wine shop with its own wines on every corner 😉. I can't judge that with my beginner skills, but I was very impressed.

Very nice family, have already vacationed in one of the holiday apartments. The wines are excellent and have been customers for a long time. I would love to go on holiday there more often, but unfortunately the distance, almost 800 km, is too far.

When we arrived we were quickly shocked because the apartment wasn't clean (kitchen/living area), the bathroom was small but that's how it was, we were warmly welcomed and we were really happy with our daughter's wine tasting, she did a great job 👌👌👌
