We were expecting a pleasant, comfortable stay and that's not what we got :(Queen sized bed was listed but we received two singles pushed together that didn't stay in place. The water pressure in the shower was terrible and the temperature changed constantly. The body wash provided smelt terrible. There were some strange splatters on the wall that looked like blood (see image attached). There was no fridge, kettle, tea or coffee in the room. Our key card stopped working mid way through our stay and it took a long time to amend due to two of the elevators not working. It was very difficult to get to and from our room as a result.Breakfast had a very limited selection, we went a little later and there was only one kind of bread left which was disgusting. There were very limited milk free options for my lactose intolerant boyfriend. The "hot" food (eggs) were almost empty, had gone cold, was watery, rubbery and pretty much inedible. When we got to breakfast many tables were vacant but had not been cleaned. We had to eat on a table with crumbs and bits of food on it. Overall extremely disappointing breakfast, was very cheap but still not worth the price. Go to McDonalds at the train station instead

Pros Walking distance to downtown, clean roomCons At check in they where neither fluent in German or English. So we struggled to communicate, very unpatient and motionless receptionistin. Didn't feel welcome. No explanations about how to use roomkeys for elevator and lights. The day we left. At checkout we encountered a seemingly drunk person sleeping by the entrance on the couch , with belly showing . Not a good reputation for a hotel .Overall not meeting the expectations of a IHG Hotel

1 star is just because they accomodate us at 2:30 in the morning. We came here urgently and price on the booking was 75€, so I wanted to book it beforehand. The receptionist said they have a problem with booking, so we needed to pay 89€ in the reception. For that money you assume you will get nicer apartment ans during the summer you would expect at least a fridge for that price. Reality is different. Also, 18€ for the parking, really? This price for the "room" does not suit your given service.EDIT: I cant reach you by phone, i call, ask a woman if she speaks english and she hangs up.. Next call I press a buttom that your line on the phone is asking me, and immediately the call is disrupted

We were nervous about staying here after reading the reviews on Google but were pleasantly surprised. Really nice hotel, no issue with staff and was bicycle parking too! For the price don't think we could have got better in the area.

The worst possible experience! Arrived at midnight only to find out that they dont have a room for us, even though our reservation was confirmed. And it wasnt only our case, three other couples (that we know of) with the same issue, completely overbooked, with no rooms! anywhere else in Regensburg available. We were offered an alternative in Norimberg! Which is 1 hour and 20 minutes drive away, absolutely insane. Not to mention the receptionist didnt know english, which is unacceptable in hospitality industry. Really putting a bad light on Holiday Inn group, next time we will choose a different hotel chain

The hotel offers great value for money. Rooms are standard but very much Ok, 3 pillows and a good mattress. The breakfast is simple but Ok, plenty of many different types of coffee. Good hotel for a short city trip

I spent quite some time in the hotel.I'll start with the good. Reception staff is very nice, friendly and professional. Rooms are quiet even despite railway next to the hotel. Smart TV and Bluetooth speaker is a nice touch. Their idea with drink vouchers for not using cleaners is brilliant!! .But...Talking about cleaners. I have no words about how bad they were. (Pictures show room after cleaning...) Sometimes I took 3 (three) days of complaining at reception before someone made half an effort to clean. I'm sure no-one is checking on cleaners so they do whatever they feel like. I don't think I've ever seen worst.Other thing. Busier times like weekends clearly show that hotel is not ready for a larger amount of guests. People have to eat at reception sofas at the bar, standing around or taking breakfast to the room...... But in the room you don't have a chair, a table you don't even have a kettle... They call it "royal minimalism" but in reality it looks only like they wanted to save money on any room equipment. Forgot to mention about not enough space in their garage.10min walk to city centre is the only good thing in my memory about that hotel..

Improvements would be not permitting people to smoke outside the entrance to the hotel, because it make non-smokers walk through all that poison just to enter the hotel; the location of the front desk and the main entrance creates …

Decided to stay here for 1 night since my friends and I were in Regensburg. Room was clean and tidy. Water for the shower was really cold…then would randomly get hot then back to cold. Small parking area—Paid 17 euro for parking my car overnight, only thing was getting a taxi was a bit difficult I believe because it was a Saturday night.

I stayed 13 days there from 1st March to 13th. And I can say now the organization is the worst as compared to November. They don't know if the person is to check out or they might have increased their stay. The guy with the glasses is a legendary intern and have a attitude problem if you're not white, I somehow felt racism. I Always had problem when he had a duty in the morning. Despite paying 1 night before for the extension of the stay the blonde housekeeping girl kept harassing us if we want to check out or not. We paid one night before so it should be your responsibility checking it in your computers. The limits were crossed when they walked in twice in the room when I was sleeping and when I was having some special moments with my girlfriend. I literally had to scream get the fc out of the room. It has been more than 2 weeks and they haven't refunded the amount that I paid for late checkout. Probably with this attitude I'm not coming back. If I'm giving you business by paying more that 500€ for my stay then I think I or anyone dont deserve this. Big thumbs down 👎 for the staff and thumbs up for the staff who were good to us (Viking guy and the Syrian guy) .👍
