The highlights are the excellent location with wineries everywhere! Great location with respect to Cochem where there is lots to do and a great price. The breakfasts were very good and the rooms clean.  …

Only went there for a meal last night. Prices are reasonable, but we thought the food was quite average. But the place is really nice. It used to be an old coach house. And the hotel is right by the river "Mosel".

Five of us checked in there. This hotel is not for people who expect a higher standard. The service is ok. The rooms are simple but comfortable. The bathrooms are very small, WiFi doesn't work everywhere in the house. Breakfast is plentiful with cereal, eggs, juice, bread and rolls and a good selection of toppings. The dinner isn't enough for that. 1 plate of soup, 1x main course & 1x dessert. Unfortunately there was no follow-up. But it was completely enough for me for 2 nights.

GOOD: Stress-free parking possible and the food was sensationally good.First there was a rich, spicy soup, then the schnitzel with an amazingly crispy, delicious breading. You could also have fun at the salad buffet.I can't say anything about wine because I was tempted to have a beer.BAD: Cleanliness of the toilets... yes, unfortunately that has to be said...

Went there for dinner today, since we are in a wine region, we of course also ordered wine. My wife's white wine was good and nicely chilled, my red wine was unfortunately served in a glass that was much too small and too warm. In response to my criticism, it was explained to me that red wine is not chilled here. Unfortunately it was around 30° and therefore simply didn't taste good. The food, on the other hand, was very rich and good; a menage on the table would be desirable. You simply expect a bit of competence from a waiter in a wine region.
