Didn’t stay here, but came for Sunday dinner. No yorkshire puddings and it was only half past 5, staff could only offer us chips or more cabbage or carrots and couldn’t do more roast potatoes. Then awkwardly came round later on and took photos of all the tables without asking or saying why, bit strange. Other than the food was nice, gravy was superb. Romantic restaurant vibe, second time have been here and will come again.

Highly recommended! Hotel located in a very quiet residential area outside of central London. You can easily reach the city center by the tube (station at few minutes from the hotel). In my opinion, the location is excellent! Very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant available in the building is very good.

Loved this place. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and very friendly. Great atmosphere, food was delicious and very convenient location-close to the railway station and bus pulled up right outside the pub. Very close to different restaurants too - a lot of variety to choose from. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for that special treatment. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

This is for the food only, not the rooms.Very average soup that honestly smelled a bit like poopy. And expensive for what you get. The atmosphere and decor are really nice though and staff were friendly, you can just get better food at equally nice pubs around Kew/Richmond.

Everything was just perfect. The 110 bus stops right at the front door, a member of staff came out to welcome us. We had a twin room, two floors up, nice and clean with very comfy beds. Good selection of drinks in the bar and good value evening meals and breakfast. Hope to come back again next year.

I am a regular patron of the Kew Gardens Hotel bar and restaurant. I can only say positive things about the place. Great service and excellent food, cooked to order on the premises. A family place where everyone is welcome. I would recommend it to anyone in the area as well as being a great place to stay if coming from further afield.

I wasn’t a guest just an impromptu visit for a meal with family. First thing was the atmosphere very calm warm and welcoming, greeted immediately by a friendly guy, and was seated in a comfortable area. Promptly given menus and in my opinion an appropriate time to adjust and settle before attempting to take our order. Order taken drinks arrived promptly, closely followed by surprisingly the main for my great niece who is just 1 year old giving her mum time to feed her prior to her own meal arriving which i hope was planned if not a fantastic coincidence. Baby fed then the adult mains arrived, beautifully presented again impeccable service providing enough condiments for our requirements. The food was more than delicious it was as close to perfect you could expect from the best restaurant in the world, my personal meal was the double cheese burger, served with the best fries i’ve ever had and a delicious sauce. However the majority of our party had the Chicken Kiev which again was described by them as the best they had ever had. Value for money for the whole experience was fantastic and I look forward to visiting again and highly recommend to everyone.
