This hotel was disgusting. I had to walk 7 flights of stairs to my room. No lift. The room was filthy. The shower didn't work properly. Dial was broken on it. The bed sheets were stain. It was a disgrace

Horrendous from start to finish asked for a room with a view, told hotel before hand I was unable to use stairs due to my disability. I prefer to book a double room as I like a double bed for comfort. …

Scruffy little hotel, but very well located. Fine for a cheap, one night stay in Central London. Check in no issues, friendly, helpful concierge.Positives: Bed comfortable and a good size. Clean, crisp white bed linen with no signs of wear. We both slept fairly well. Modern shower room/toilet. Plenty of hot water. Bedroom was clean, even the mirror on the wardrobe had no fingerprints. Tea and instant coffee facilities in the room, also a hairdryer.Negatives: room is in great need of a lick of paint and general snagging. Nothing that a keen handyman could not accomplish in day. Just scuffs and cracks. TV wasn't tuned. Light fitting only had 2 of 5 Lamps working, window latch hanging off, etc. see pics.Entrance from street a climb up scruffy staircase. No lift which is typical for such converted buildings.Overall OK at the price. But keep your expectations low. 3 stars, just about and a brief stay only.

The room was dirty and had an appalling odor when we arrived. The bathroom had black mold, and leaks, which the staff addressed by covering with a towel (don't take my word for it, look at the pictures). The staff were rude, and the cleaner bursted into our room half an hour before the check-out without knocking. My partner was sick the day after due to sleeping in a room wit mold.Thought I could take it for one night to get a cheap stay in London, I would not stay again for anything in the world.

Please please never stay here! I’ve never been spoken to so badly. My elderly mother felt unwell so asked to cancel the booking, there was no compassion or kindness & the manager said “I don’t care about your mother, I’ve no rules here …

I’m not exactly sure where to begin. I hate to use “scam” here but this place is not as advertised. Although location was ideal and very safe, we were absolutely shocked as to how filthy the room was. The photos on the booking ad were completely different, hence why I said “scam”. The washroom had a bunch of duct tape being used to cover up a crack on the floor, and hotel personnel knocked on our door on the first night asking if we could put a towel down on the bathroom floor because “water is leaking into the room downstairs”. Huh??? It really wasn’t our problem that they had a big gash in the floor. Honestly a very strange experience and odd request. We couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Worst experience ever! I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. I asked the staffs when I check in that could I have a later check out at 3pm on the last day, as my flight was 9pm. They said yes. But on the day of check out, one of the staffs broke into my room at 11am, forcing me to check out. When I refused to do so as they promised me a late check-out, the staff at the reception threathen me to pay the late check out fee of 30pounds, or they will call the police.I didn't have a choice facing a muscular guy threatening me, so I paid and left.I would NOT recommend anyone to try this hotel!

Is this a nice hotel? No, no it is not. Is it cheaper than other nearby hotels? Yes, yes it is. I will start with the minor positives: the receptionist was sweet, and the bathroom was technically clean. …

This is the most unpleasant experience we have ever had during a trip. The room they gave us was in terrible condition, the shower was disgusting, with slime/mold on the walls and floor. Dirty walls and disgustingly stained carpets. The room assigned was in so a terrible condition that I went to talk to the receptionist to ask her to give us a room in better conditions - a clean room. The room they offered me had the mirror door of the closet broken, with tape, which is a danger. Anyway, the room was dirty. I have videos of everything I'm describing. The conditions of these rooms show a lack of respect for the guests. Please do not believe the photos that the hotel publishes of its rooms. Finally, we had to change hotel, we didn’t stay there. I had to go and look for a hotel. It has been the worst experience we have ever had. Don’t stay there, under no circumstances.

Horrible hotel. This is not as described and nothing like the photos. It is run down, dirty, smelly and poorly equipped. I paid £180 for 2 nights - no breakfast available - and felt I was robbed. …
