This was our second time staying at Sloane Place and we found a bottle of delicious red wine in our room as a welcome gift. The staff also remembered us, greeted us warmly and even our lovely dog was recognized. Checking in was very quick and the staff are very friendly and charming. The room was very large and had a bathtub. The biggest advantage of the hotel is that it is dog-friendly. Our four-legged friend was welcomed in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The restaurant offers excellent food and delicious cocktails late into the evening. It was a perfect stay to visit London and relax.P.s.: Some reviews mentioned the poor staff. We had a different experience. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and frequently checked to make sure everything was ok. Also, the chef of service took our order when the staff was too busy.

First off, I would like to express that I’ve never written a google review. I’m writing this on behalf of my horrendous experience I had with my mother involving the hotel front desk staff. They are so outwardly disrespectful towards guests it’s incredibly disappointing. My mother comes from a background of polynesian and vietnamese descent. Given this, she is not a wealthy women of European descent, a white person. Upon arrival, we had just come from the airport on a six hour red eye flight. Obviously, we are not going to look our best. After stating multiple times during check in that my mother’s name is hyphenated the woman looked at us up and then down. She proceeded to say, “are you booked for one night?” The tone of her voice was very clear she was insinuating we could not afford a longer stay. Finally, finding our reservation, we asked if there was a possibility our room was ready. We were given the rudest “No.” as a response. When asked if there was bathrooms the tone hadn’t changed. It worsen to an annoyed, “upstairs.” The room was nice once we could check in. When we were checking out, we asked if there was anywhere in the hotel where we could have our lunch. Two younger recipients were trying to speak only to be cut off by an older woman with a flat and nasty, “No.” If you’re not white, don’t bother staying here. This hotel is too “prestigious” for people of colour. This type of treatment is absolutely unacceptable.

Great locations. Whichever way you walk, you are close to the parks, tubes, museums, rows of boutiques, Harrod’s and good restaurants abound. It is right behind to Satchi Gallery. The hotel only has limited rooms sold to hotel guests and the rest are dedicated to club members. At the time of this review, they are in the midst of refurbishments that don’t make disturbing noises to the guests. So book early for best value because they have fewer rooms. The room is not the biggest so it is better to get the next size up that comes with bathtub and slightly more wiggle room. I got upgraded here. Tin general , the minibar was great and had coffee maker, pods, teas, and cookies. The people are helpful.

We booked this hotel because of the Excellent location and cosy ambiance. We checked in yesterday but we were surprised how small the room was. And to add to that the wall of the room is tilted which makes it feel even smaller. The staff wasn’t helpful at all when we asked to look at other rooms with different layout. Even though we are staying for +10 nights. Also no fridge nor kettle in the room. Not a big deal but disappointing. I don’t think we will stay here again. The staff at the reception definitely need more training.Edit: thank you for your reply. Please note that yes we were moved to another room which was a lot more spacious. However, the room we moved to is a king bedroom even though we booked a twin bedroom (it was more expensive). There is no chance the room we checked in at the beginning with the tilted wall is one of your largest rooms :) I have seen +5 rooms in the hotel and they are all bigger than that room.

Location is amazing. Rooms are very small and doors slam all night and all morning. Very loud and paper thin walls. We have stayed here 2x but not sure we will be back. The price is definitely worth it for just the location alone.

It’s a hommie-like place. Felt I was in my own place. The size of the room is pretty good. I had the King Chelsea and for a single person it was okay. The room is clean but I think room service could have done a better job. But in general it’s good.Everything around is just a walking distance from the hotel and that what I liked most. A variety of restaurants are around in Chelsea .. It was a good choice!

Absolutely wonderful stay at Sloane Place Hotel under difficult circumstances. The staff are all so lovely but I have to single out a waitress Rosana who went above and beyond to make everything perfect, what a credit she is to the Sloan Place and I want to make sure she gets the thanks she deserves. Also I would like to say how amazing Eric in the restaurant was, he was always smiling, always every so helpful and kind and again a credit to Sloane Hotel also. Another lovely lady I would really like to thank is Emma who waited on me on the roof terrace, who's kindness I will never forget. Thank you all and I will definitely return to see you all again.Anne

Expensive but a good location for the Chelsea Flower Show. This is priced in I'm sure. Having said that, it's a nice place to stay.
