We booked for this hotel but actually stayed three doors down at the Kingsway, it appears both properties are joint managed. The staff were friendly and accommodating. …

I would give 0 for the room if I could. Arrived to the hotel and discovered that the reception was actually 2 doors down in a different hotel. There is no elevator and the stairs are very narrow, very hard to navigate with large suitcases.Get into the room, and it was tiny and very outdated. The bathroom was even worse. The toilet seat was snapped into 2, only 1 side of the shower screen opened, the sink was not clean. The light in the shower was pushed up into the roof. The roof and majority of the grout lines in the entire bathroom were filled with black mould and you could smell the mould. The pillows on the bed were paper thing and nothing felt clean. The carpets looked like they were filled with dust.Instantly left and booked in with another hotel after paying for 1 night due to booking.coms policy.

Arrived to the hotel and discovered that the reception was actually 2 doors from hotel. There is no elevator and the stairs are very narrow, very hard to navigate with large suitcases.Get into the room, it was very small not same like images which are shown in website. Same goes with the bathroom. Water was freaking hot even if we switched to medium level, so we need to be very caution. Otherwise, the room was clean as well as all the electronics. Overall, the service was good. Especially, Mohammed Azan was very kind and helped us with all the needful things. Just because of him, I would rate the service for 4 star.

WARNING: this hotel experience is horrible.I would not ever book to go back. My father booked me and my family two rooms and it was honestly very bad. My father had booked through a third party site and received instructions that the reception was two doors down. It was in fact that the hotel itself was 2 doors down and not even named the Admiral Hotel! My father was asked to pay for the room again upon arrival and the staff explained that they would “provide a discount” and cancel the booking through the third party website. Very sketchy if you ask me. The person who signed us in was very rude. The photos looked nothing like the rooms. It is obviously a difference place.I quite literally had my feet in the shower recess while using the toilet the bathroom was that small. The hand basin also could not fit in the bathroom and this was located externally. The mattress was terrible and felt like it had a downhill slope.I received shampoo and conditioner on the first day but then at no other time yet somehow seemed to get more and more towels each day for some unknown reason. The only redeeming feature of the whole place was the two lovely ladies down in the kitchen area. They were friendly and kind.I would avoid this hotel if I was you. Also no lift inside and not great stairs for climbing if you aren’t very mobile.

Booked the Admiral Hotel, but we ended up staying at Kingsway Park Hotel 2 doors down. I was confused as the address was different the pictures on line were very different but it was late so we went with it, sadly. Rooms are small and noisy. The bathroom was so small you could be on the toilet and have a shower at the same time! I kid you not. The floor in the room was not level so the bed was not level which caused me to almost fall out a few time. We also had a pump in our room which provided the water pressure. It screemed like a banshee whenever a tap was turned on. On the upside. Location is very good close to stations and the staff tried very hard.

There is MUSIC from the hotel played in all the hallways every night 24/7. When complaining to the staff they say they’ll turn it off but they don’t. The rooms are tiny and don’t appear very clean. The tiny wardrobes smell. I can’t recommend.

For starters, whoever was on duty at the front desk on the 3rd of Dec. 2023 at 6:22 PM (UK time) is out to make Admiral lose more business! …
