We stayed at Prince Hall for a weekend away in the gorgeous Dartmoor countryside. It was an absolutely stunning house, with an amazing hotel overlooking the Dartmoor hills. Such a great house with 9 very spacious en suite rooms. Ideal for a weekend with friends and also very kid friendly. Sam was very responsive to all emails in the lead up to the weekend away. Great equipped kitchen too! I would highly recommend.

Just returned after an amazing night at this house. The staff were first class, the food was literally amazing, reasonably priced but so so tasty. I recommend the steak. The bar is quiet but has a large range of drinks. …

Took my husband here for his birthday. What an amazing place in the middle of the moors steeped in history and lovely views of the country side. Our room was light and airy with a sleigh bed and very spacious we even had a bath. …

Decided to book a one night stay due to location and being dog friendly.||Dogs can go anywhere except the restaurant. This was fine as the bar room area and sitting room were lovely to relax and have breakfast/dinner/a drink in. …

We stayed at Prince Hall for a Surprise 50th. The house was stunning and had everything we could possibly need. There was so much to do, a great games room with pool, table tennis, darts, table football, a BBQ on the patio, hot tub, sauna, board games and plenty of books. The location is beautiful. We were very lucky with the weather and some of our party went walking out in the moors straight from the property. The rooms were all large, clean and very comfortable!I cannot recommend staying here enough, we all had a wonderful time and made some incredible memories!

We hired Princehall for 3 nights for our small wedding ceremony and it was the best decision we ever made. Right from the moment we walked into the property we felt so relaxed, comfortable and were in awe of the place. It has everything you need, come rain or shine. Lots of games to keep people busy, lots of places to hang out and the most comfortable beds ever! We held our ceremony in the garden and the reception in the barn afterwards. There was lots of space for our 40 guests to eat and dance. We hired a bar for the additional room, which worked perfectly. The whole house, barn and grounds are kept to an exceptionally high standard and are tastefully decorated. It was easy to hire the equipment needed to turn the barn into our dream reception venue with the help of our wedding planner, Westcountry Wedding Planner. I can’t put into words how perfect it was for the three nights- we actually wish we booked for longer. And we keep talking about how we will need to come back for our anniversaries! Thank you to Sam- our stay was perfection.

This place is fantastic. The house is magnificent. The views are spectacular. We stayed in October and the whole house was warm and not at all draughty. The kitchen is well equipped - you could even bake a cake if you wanted to. The wifi is rubbish so you'll have to wait to get home to post all your brags about where you've stayed.

We love this place - have stayed here many times but visited today for a cream tea after a walk on the moors. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the cream teas are amazing. Also dogs are very welcome and everybody is made to feel at home.
