Very nice pub and very handy for the campsite next door where we were staying. Good choice of local ales and the food was very good.We had the "toad in the hole" which is unusual in a pub these days and two very nice desserts.Nice atmosphere throughout, with a lovely wood burner in the restaurant and the service matched the food so we would certainly be happy to go again if we are ever in the area.

Lovely little pub, been here for a couple of weekends this summer and I’ve loved every minute. The staff and management are absolutely great and I’ve found that the locals are super friendly! The food is absolutely lovely and the drinks are well priced, it’s a shame they don’t offer breakfast though because I’d definitely treat myself to that as well! The camping ground is one of the best pub ones that I have been to, it’s nice and quiet and the toilets and showers are really clean! Definitely recommend a stay!

Just had a meal here on way to rollright stones. Wow, food was amazing! I had fish and chips and I can honestly say it was the best fish and chips I’ve ever had and my hubby had steak and he said it was delicious. We both give the meal 10/10! Highly recommend.

We stumbled across the website when searching for a campsite local to Moreton-in-Marsh and we are so glad we did. Wonderful little site, situated at the back of the pub - well contained area, with shower and toilet block.  …

Friendly, helpful staff, there to serve the customer to the best of their ability. Good choice on the menu and great atmosphere. A number of different environments from bar, snug to terrace. Dogs welcomed to the bar area. The only reason for not giving 5* on this occasion was our choice from the menu was very good (4.5) but not perfection. The highly praised samosas were rather dry, with ordinary pastry rather than filo. Sausage and mash was good and tasty, but again the mash was rather dry and needing more gravy or butter.

Arrived here late on a Tuesday evening after being for covid jabs in chipping Norton, thought we'd stop in on way back. They were really kind and told us if we got our order in quickly they'd process it before a large group who were gradually arriving at the same time. Nice food, my partner had a burger which was massive and tasty. Great service, we will be back

We stayed 2 nights on the campsite here. Really friendly and easy to book, seemed easy going which is good especially in these times. Got on site and freedom of where to pitch. If you are expecting 5* luxury this might not be for you. But for our first time camping it had everything we needed and more! Can you complain, camping next to a pub?

Can only speak for the restaurant side of things, but the dinner I had here years ago still ranks as the best meal I've had in my life. Burgers do not come any better, and I remember having some of the ice cream, and even boring flavours like vanilla were done so astounding well with such depth of taste. I recall service being great and prices being fair. My commendation does not come any higher.
