Amazing place to stay, great location, tucked away from all the traffic and tourists around Morton on Marsh.Fishing is really good never fail to catch nice fish on simple tactics, more course fishing than carp angling. We stay on the motorhome and caravan part, all clean and spacious with an electric hook up.Showers and toilets are first class, showers are £1 for 5 minutes.

Absolutely stunning setting, brilliant fishing, lovely bed and breakfast accommodation, amazing full English breakfast. Hospitality was above and beyond from Debbie, she made us very welcome from the outset and was so friendly and attentive. Everything 10 out of 10! My partner paid for us to have a break here last weekend as a birthday treat and i couldn't recommend this place highly enough. The tench lake (sunset) is one of the most beautiful lakes I've ever seen and the fish were all immaculate and very hard fighting. What a place! Really close to Morton on Marsh too where we had a 5 star meal at the Redesdale Arms Hotel. Definitely worth a visit. Thank you Debbie and Andy you really made our visit special!

Back in 2003 Debbie and Andy took over Lemington lakes at first it looked great that the fishery had new owners that wanted to improve the fishing. Unfortunately over the years they slowly but surely reduced fishing on the site to the point it was almost impossible to be able to fish there at all.New rules were added and along with many others I bought all the necessary equipment required. Very soon after this they decided to shut down the fishing and provide it on a couple of ponds to people who booked onto the caravan site only.Unfortunately all Debbie and Andy did was ruin what could have been a well run fishery. If they weren't interested in running a fishery why buy one in the first place?Yes it has been some time since I fished it however I believe my review is valid especially as Lemington lakes continues to be listed as a fishery on many sites. What once was a lovely fishery has now been taken away from angler's. Can't understand why they didn't sell it to someone interested in running it as the fishery it had been for years prior to their ownership.

Lemington Lakes is run rather differently to most 'commercial' fishing lakes. For one thing you have to be a member, membership is free, but it means that the owners know who you are and are able to ensure that only those who treat the …

After a week in a so called Chalet (more like a home from home) Lovely wooden floors, open plan kitchen/living room and big comfy beds. Its a shame to be leaving. I really couldn't recommend this place enough. It was also reassuring they checked my Landing net and Carp cradle to make sure I could look after the stunning big carp in Westminster Lake. Whilst having a breakfast in the cafe on our first morning Debbie couldn't have been more helpful of what had been working on the lakes. If you are into your Carp fishing speak to Andy. Top guy with a wicked sense of humour!! WE WILL BE BACK....just need to save up now as I want a 24hr session with Andy on Abbots lake (watch this space) Darryll and Sue
