Super friendly staff from the hotel check in, the restaurant and the breakfast…… without fault.I was in room 154 which is a small cottage just 20m from the hotel on the Main Street. The room was quaint in the way tourists would like it but in reality the carpets were stained and the bath/shower over complicated and a simple and better shower would have been more suitable. I would also recommend earplugs as the room is on the high street so passing traffic will wake light sleepers.Great selection of veggie and vegan food in the restaurant and a vegan full English.

Just an overnighter for the Belfry golf. Staff are fantastic, food choice and quality great, good selection of beers and a great breakfast.Whilst our room was perhaps a "little tired" it was a good size, spotless, comfy and a good bathroom.Car parking a bonus.Excellent value, amazing service, highly recommended

If it wasn't for the lovely staff I would be rating this lower. The room we had was very tired and heating non-existent. Thankfully a member of staff got me a fan heater and apologised for the cold room. The window frame and opening pane wanted replacing. Let's be honest this could be a great place especially being so close to the NEC, but it needs a lot of money spent on it. Our evening meal was ok, but again you must question a hotel that lists the pies as British made, obviously not home made in their kitchen. The breakfast again was ok and the service excellent.

Nice hotel, the building has a good pub that does tasty food. The pub is used by locals and was very busy when I visited, but the service was friendly and attentive. Food was timely and piping hot.Reception was friendly and informative. The room, I was in 156 and it's an old fashioned place that's wonderfully wobbly with beams windows half in the floor.Bed was comfy, bathroom was a good size and even had a funny little front room.Really good experience, if I'm ever back up there I'd definitely stay again.

Great location for what I needed. The staff were fabulous, friendly, attentive, helpful etc. My room had everything that I needed, heating, tea / coffee, good bedding, great mattress, plenty of hot water, towels. The decoration just felt a little tired.
