On arrival no staff were around. I found them all in the bar after realising their bell for attention didn't work. 20 minutes later they finally came to check me in at which point a queue had formed behind me. …

Seeing some of the reviews after I stopped, may have put me have however...let's put a few things into perspective. I was only doing a one night stay, the room was around £40-£50 cheaper than other accommodation I stay in the area. I have stayed in worse places and paid more. I had a standard double room which was clean quite possibly recently painted, well away from the function room so quiet. Yes there was a little noise from adjoining rooms but certainly no more than you would get in the likes of big chains like TL and PI. The bed was comfortable and clean so no issues here. The night we stayed they had three team members visible covering the bar and restaurant as well as reception. We were uncertain whether the bell was working, until we later sat in the bar and heard how annoying it was for the team when it was pressed repeatedly (sorry guys) Luke was friendly and helpful and the bar staff likewise. The only downside for us was down to a group of other customers who after eating their whole meal complained. In fairness been close enough to hear what was going on I thought the resolution was fair, but they got louder and more obnoxious towards the staff who remained calm and polite throughout. Even to the extent of apologising to other customers for the disruption. So for us, the friendly welcome pleasant evening and value for money scores this a top mark...

The staff, food and drinks were lovely they helped throughout the preparation of my mothers birthday in the stratford suite. The amazing staff called Courtney, Alex , Louie, and Mia were the happiest and brightest staff ever met. They are very kind, helpful, and generous through out the preparation.

The hotel and the rooms are very tired. Curtains hanging from a few hooks for example. Staff really unhelpful when the key card didn't work. They were only interested in trying to charge me for the room after I had paid ahead of time. Very limited food available in the bar and restaurant. Noisy wedding in the room below us.

Oh my days, where do I start!? Stayed one night (30/08/24) in room 40, it was like a shoe cupboard, that had a sky light window, which when opened, set the fire alarm off as it was directly over the reception area where all the smokers …

Quiet pub, with hotel attached. Large establishment on the A3400 midway between Henley and Solihull. We ate in the restaurant many years ago, and did not have a chance to come back.Just went for some casual beers and a chill out this time.Large car park.Friendly staff.Lots of room to sit and lounge around.Plenty of outdoor seating hence why we thought it ideal to relax under a bit of sunshine.

Have been staying here for awhile with work.Absolutely brilliant place, comfortable rooms, nice bar, location is beautiful. The staff are real people, not generic uniformed robots like at large chains. Rachel, Luke, demi & Caitlin to name a few are always helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Have read some of the previous lower scoring reviews and whilst they are entitled to their opinions I could not disagree more with them
