We stayed here this August for two nights for a wedding. As a couple who had just done a full week of different hotels every night for another wedding further afield, one thing I can say about a Premier Inn is you know exactly what you are …

Staff were friendly and welcoming and that’s the only positive. Rooms were absolutely boiling and the AC doesn’t work, even when it’s off it slowly blows hot air through, the window only opens about 2 inches so you can’t even get fresh air into the room. Staff are obviously aware of the heat problem as when you get to your room the window is open and the small fan is on full blast, but it only blows the hot air around making it impossible to get a good nights sleep.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room had hairs in the bed and around the bathroom. Was stains on the bedding. Room was so hot. Toilet wouldn't flush properly. The plug hole was full of hair and gunk. Went to the restaurant and it was terrible. 30 minutes to get drinks and nearly an hour for awful food. Was really disappointing as Premier Inns are usually upto a certain standard. I've stayed in around 12 and this was the worst.

Good location within the Midlands area for breaking up a journey. Prices are good value for accommodation. Staff were helpful and the rooms were fine for the price. There is a restaurant for guests, for breakfast and evening meals. Free parking for guests available, just register car when booking in.

Rooms are good.Food on the other hand !! Is a much, MUCH different story !. The pub/restaurant (if that's what you can call it) is a shambles. We turned up, and tried going in at the opening time, 5pm, only to be told that it wasn't open as a member of staff had left the premises with the keys to open the front door. Nearly an hour later, the doors were opened, we were sat down, and find that the menu is so small, and basic, that you couldn't call it a bar menu, let alone a restaurant menu. The food is prepacked/precooked and reheated and plated up. So they can't cater to families who have autistic children or young fussy eaters. The lady who served us, bless her, tries her best to help out with options and to try and keep us in the restaurant, but ultimately, soon came to realise that their system is MAJORLY FLAWED

Cramped room for four with furniture squeezed in. Boiling room when only 17degrees outside, crappy fans and no air conditioning. Lady on arrivals was blank and rude. But other staff were nice. …

One of the best I've stayed in, Staff were fantastic, very quiet and secluded, Centurion Bar and restaurant has very limited choice, but again, Staff were superb.. Local amenities, not close so long walk or transport needed.. internet very poor, but nothing new for Premier Inn, they must change Provider. Staff made my weeks stay enjoyable.. 😊

The room was as expected. Since our last visit the Premier Inn have taken over the restaurant. The menu is much reduced and dissapointing. …

No air conditioning, ridiculously hot and only a measly fan. Cramped ‘family’ room with single beds crammed in. Initial person on the desk was very unwelcoming but service got better. The pub is closed to the public and only open at certain times for hotel guests. Would not return.

Calvin behind the desk, was brilliant very helpful and assisted with the check in into the hotel. Very cheerful and welcoming, helped explain and assist with any issues. Created a welcoming atmosphere for me and my coworker when it came to checking in.
