Original hotel booked weeks prior was closed due to no biomass fuel so moved to here (at same cost). Firstly, this is no equal in terms of standard. Room was basic to say the least, bathroom poor standard with nightmare shower controlled by mixer tap. Restaurant is better furnished and serviced with varied menu for evening meals and breakfast. Food was very good which is a slight redeeming plus. My colleague was booked in on the same night and paid £90/night whereas my original advanced booking was £120? This hotel needs a lot more work doing to demand £120/ night (stayed in Macdonald Hotel - Livingston the previous night for £60, no comparison!).

Menu wasn't good. Two dishes for vegetarians. Both were pasta. I know there are more meat eaters but a bit more choice for vegetarians would be good. We have eaten there before and the choice was much better. Food nicely cooked and presented.

Was attending a wedding in this hotel so decided to stay for a couple of nights. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Glenn who ran us through the covid rules. We then went to our room which was impeccable. The location of this hotel is fantastic for travelling around the region both sides of the border. We dined and had a drink also very reasonable price wise.. The wedding could not have been better . Staff very attentive food was excellent... all in all this establishment is impeccably ran and managed will certainly be using it again

The Queens Hotel has been refurbished recently so my wife and I decided to try their new lunch menu. We live reasonably locally so we only wanted a meal, and cannot comment on the standard of rooms or the quality of overnight stays. The setting of the hotel is quite nice, just outside of the town of Lockerbie, it sits in it's own grounds and has ample parking. The reception area and dining area have been revamped and are brighter and more comfortable than before. We found the staff/owners very welcoming and the food was very good and reasonably priced. All-in-all we enjoyed our lunch and will return for afternoon or evening meals in the future.

A little hot but very cosy plus they have blow coolers in the room for it being hot bit noisy with the windows open but that's because it's near a roundabout but the staff & owner are lovely people.

I visited the Queens Hotel as a party of 9, 7 adults and 2 children. The restaurant is easy to find with plenty of parking at the rear. It's got disabled access also. The atmosphere and ambience is a family friendly environment and a nice warm pub feeling. The food is lovely with plenty of choice for anyone with an appetite including vegetarians. I'm unsure about the choice for customers with intolerance requirements?I had the lamb mint burger which was lovely but on the slightly small side as my sons children's burger was twice the size but half the price.Overall it is a great place for a nice family meal out and would recommend a visit.

Located just off the motorway heading north. Enjoyed a family lunch, cater for gluten free, reasonable price and generous portion both for adults and children. Staff pleasant. Relaxed atmosphere. Photo not great but you might get an idea of children food portion.

Very nice hotel in an old Scottish building. Our twin room was private and warm with plenty of towels and two very comfortable beds. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious and very clean. The proprietor was a very nice woman who helped us carry our luggage up the stairs (our fault for bringing so many bags!)I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Location is convenient to Lockerbie only 5min by car. Rooms are cosy and warm with modern facilities. A little bit of highway and other noise filters through but not too bad. Good price.
