Excellent stay, staff amazing and friendly go out of way to help. Extra special thanks to Sophie and Caitlin on reception who went above and beyond to help. On a long weekend break with 3 friends , this hotel was perfect for what we wanted. We originally were allocated the 2 bed apartment which is at the bottom of the hotel, with many stairs. This wouldve been perfect for us, but the stairs were too much due to health conditions, and the room was a bit smelly. The reception staff Caitlin was absolutely fantastic and helped us without any hassle, super helpful and friendly, the rooms we were moved to were perfect clean and comfortable. Great night sleep and beautiful breakfast… thank you very much for making our weekend excellent. Kat

We were looking for a hotel for the night that served food not just breakfast. And wow we found a corker about an hour south from us, it was so worth the drive. We phoned through to check there was availability and spoke to a lovely receptionist who was very helpful. She booked us in to a superior room with half board ( yes dinner and breakfast) all for £98 we were stunned when we arrived what a beautiful hotel well worthy of a visit. We had a four poster bed a coffee machine in our room and beautiful sea views. The food was lovely and the staff are very attentive without over doing it. Will be visiting again next time we pass through.

Paid £140 for a Sunday stay at this hotel with breakfast and 3 course evening meal. There was no set menu for this deal, like other hotels we have stayed at. The portions were great. The meals were lovely and the service was great. The village itself, although at the end of the world, is very easy to get to and has more amenities than you would expect. Enough for a day's stay. Beautiful setting and hotel. Although dated. Very impressive on top of the hill. Get a Sunday deal and it is great value for the money.

Rooms were fine, but little small. (There are bigger ones available but we're on the top floor in one of the smaller ones) The hotel itself is old and a little shabby, but clean. Staff were great but there's not enough of them (the same issue affects all the remote places as there is not enough housing for the hospitality professionals) breakfast was great, apart from coffee. I would not recommend eating your dinner here, there are better places down in the harbour. Overall a pleasant stay, with fantastic views, just bear in mind the average age of a visitor to this hotel is about 75. Dog friendly. Try get an upgraded room if you can, they look fabulous.

We stayed for one night in a Superior room which comfortable and absolutely spotless. The breakfast was very good too, however there’s less choice if you’re not after a cooked breakfast. The staff completely bring this hotel to life, we received friendly and welcoming service from everyone we interacted with, and everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we have a great stay!

I recently stayed at this hotel with a group of friends in a car club. Sadly, the experience was not all good. It is in a fantastic location and but there it ends.  …

All the staff were really efficient and friendly. Were on a dinner bed and breakfast deal and the dinner was really good, plenty choice on the menu. Would go back in the area.
